Awesome customer service. I have been scouring the Internet for a SUP. I am new to the sport and really just needed some clarification on all the info I had collected before I made my purchase.
I was greeted by Ryan and he was super friendly and very knowledgeable on all the products. They installed an additional bungee onto my board and helped/​showed me how to install the roof rack! Jerry came out and thanked me for my service and gave me a deal on my paddle! Overall I am so pleased I landed upon West Coast Kayaks! Great shop, I will definitely recommend them! Thanks guys!

They have a new lifetime customer! The level of expertise and professionalism here at west coast is bar none. We had been to Dicks sporting goods and sports athority and really were limited on fishing kayaks choices and no one really had the information we were looking for. Lastly the icing on the cake was a wonderful military discount. My husband and kids are going to be putting many miles on our new toy :) thanks guys

My wife and I bought a Sup from West Coast today. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Great place to rent and buy paddle boards. We came in from colorado after just moving here and wanted to buy some paddle boards. The entire staff was very friendly and the prices were the same as everywhere and even cheaper than some internet! Serviced everything and lent us racks to transport home. Great store !

I won’t be coming here again in this lifetime.
When I first arrived, I told the lady behind the counter I was just browsing… she made a «huff» sound and said «Looking? You need to be BUYING!» Umm, ok. Off to a bad start, but there was so much cool stuff I moved on.
Next up, the nice but overly aggressive young sales boy. In his interest to move some of the «Nu-​Canoe» products, he suggested I consider a 275 centimeter paddle for my kayak! These paddles work with Nu-​Canoes because they are extremely wide, but would be insane for a normal sit-​on-​top kayak like I have. I felt like he was trying to offload one of those giant paddles simply because they had so many. A normal kayak paddle maxes out at 230 cm.
Third strike, they play a Christian station in the store. I have nothing against Christians, but I am not one. The guy on the radio was praying and talking about sin and going on and on. If I wanted to be proseletyzed I’d go to a church, not a kayak store. The owner also wore a «Jesus themed» shirt. If you want to proclaim your faith, that’s cool, but expect to lose some business by doing it. It was downright weird and uncomfortable.
Never again.
