The Gift Box

Cute little store on the strip of St. Pete. They have a little bit of everything but it seems to be that many of the things were focused on gifts for children. I was able to find a magnet and an ornament and bought them. She wrapped them nice and tight for the plane ride home and gave me a cute little bag to carry it! Nice bags make me smile :)

I am probably not their target customer, so the Gift Box didn’t really jump out at me. While they are very well organized, they seem to have a very haphazard and unfocused collection of items in their small shop: some jewelry, a few purses, stuffed animals, books for children and adults, lotions and soaps, decorative napkins and ornaments, etc. The inventory basically consists of items you could add to a gift for a small child or a female friend or relative; it is not a «destination» shop, and it isn’t the most conveniently priced (probably due to location), but it is certainly a convenient place for a last minute gift that doesn’t need to be too personal. Great for procrastinators!

Great place to find gifts for friends.
I went in looking for a mother’s day gift and a birthday gift for my friend. This store is jam packed full of cute yet unique items. They have décor for the home, jewelry, lotions, and tons more. It is a little on the more pricey side, but definitely reasonable. I think the jewelry is stunning and unique.
I ended up buying my friend a spa set that was on sale for half off and I got my mom a set of salt and pepper shakers and oil and vinegar bottles. It was all really cute and really functional.
The woman at the counter was very nice and wrapped my mother’s day gift in bubble wrap and gave me a sturdy box once she found out that it was going to be shipped to Texas.
If you’re looking for a gift this is definitely a place you will want to stop by.

The products at the gift box are arranged so logically and atheistically pleasing that finding a gift with many elements in a theme is both easy and pleasurable. Lots of really cute trinkets, including rare Disney items, mixed in with practical and functional items like place settings with flare. The ladies who run the shop are very sweet and helpful, willing to give their ideas to find the perfect gift. A really great local alternative to the National greeting card chain stores
