An amazing place, my husband and I visit every year for our birthday days. And staff has always been very attentive and very very pleasant. We absolutely enjoyed meals each time we visited. The steaks are outstanding, and oh my gosh the salad and bread are wonderful. Love love it.

Excellent place to eat while on vacation recently. In fact, we had dinner there twice in a 9 day period. James was an awesome server and made great steak suggestions. Steaks were top notch!!! Unlimited salad with a flavorful homemade dressing and fresh cheese bread. Desserts were huge. Definitely a good place and prices were NOT outrageous considering the amount of food.

Thiss place exceeded my expectations as far as pricey food goes! My birthday steak was juicy and delicious, cooked perfectly, you don’t need sauce! We arrived just in time for the last day of their chicken fried bacon. I could’ve eaten that all night! Our server I believe was Greg. He was absolutely fantastic. He was funny, witty, totally professional and awesome from beginning to end. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to have my birthday dinner pr a better server to take care of our table.

Good steak, a little pricey. Let’s talk steak for a minute. Some season their steaks others are smoked after being aged, some have no added flavor that I can tell. This house has the aged smoked flavor that is really a treat. I like Outback, with its 11 seasonings, I like Texas Road House(my go to) for its flavor but when an aged smokey lightly seasoned steak is called for, this is a good one. The atmosphere is great. Has that«been around for awhile» classy, wood paneling, cloth table cloths feel, A real bar and the service was really nice. All you can eat salad, the house dressing was good, ingredients were fresh. I understand they have a free steak for you on your birthday so go get it! Of course it’s just a ploy to get you and your family in and hooked. We’ll be back but not too often. Steak for the buck, I gotta stick to the roadhouse. I do know that a great aged steak costs a lot more than the western sizzlin(only been once) or the Waffle House steak that comes with the eggs, don’t get me wrong. I’ve had great steaks at some great places, had bad steaks at some nice places and had decent steaks at some unexpected places. This is a really good steak by all accounts, but for the same money as the two of us spent eating here we can take the kids to another place and all have a good steak. Enjoy!

This place clearly strives to meet the expectations of even the most critical customers, and in my opinion far exceeds them! l’ve had the privilege of being introduced to Texas cattle Company about 10 years ago by close friends, who promised us some of the juiciest, most flavorful steaks that we’ve ever had. Little did we know, that even after 10 years, we would still wholeheartedly agree! I tend to take my grilling very seriously, and seldom find a restaurant that can manage to age, season, and cook a steak so well that I am humbled by their expertise. I truly love food, and love to rant about it(when it’s deserved) but rarely do I have the urge to rave in such astronomical adjectives. This food is truly a phenomenon! The oak and citrus wood perfectly pair with the seasoning, somehow measuring up to the natural flavor of the steak in a way that is neither overpowering, nor underwhelming. I’ve had their New York strip, fillet mignon, ribeye,(you name it) but keep coming back for their 32 oz. porterhouse. Their lobster tails are always perfectly seasoned and cooked. Even their salad and twice-buttered bread are worth mentioning, as I could regrettably make a meal out of them alone. The only downside to this place is that I am almost always too full to order dessert, which usually consists of carrot cake, cheesecake, Red velvet cake, or some other chef d’oeuvre. One last detail that is well deserving of consideration, is their blue Rose of Texas… A Margarita of Texas-sized proportions, that never disappoints, as it is served both on fire(literally), and equipped with plenty of fuel to spare. Do yourself a favor, and set aside some of your hard earned money and precious time by treating yourself to an experience both inspiring and memorable. If you are an individual who prides himself on enjoying some of the finest flavors that the human pallet can perceive, then do not attempt to deprive yourself… you will not regret this experience!

Very disappointed in this restaurant. Been there once before and was less than thrilled but decided to give them another chance. The salad was good, very large for a salad that comes with a meal. That and the rolls were the only thing that was worth the trip. My boyfriend got the t-bone and I got the chicken. His steak was burned on the edges and raw in the middle. My chicken was so salty it was inedible. When we complained, we just got a blank stare from our waiter. We ended up walking out and will never go back

This place. This place right here is where men and woman kneel down at the alter of meat. This place is where the book of flavor, the book of sides, and the book of bacon cheddar mash all are taken seriously. This is the place where edible feelings come in the form of steaks. Yes this place is amazing! This is now my third trip to the St. Pete location and I can say, hands down Ive never had a better steak. Cooked to perfection, and flavored beyond anything my taste buds could handle. I was treated to a Bone in Ribeye this evening with Cheddar Bacon Mashed potatoes. Unreal how good that steak was. Our waitress made the recommendation. Verbatim«Go with the Bone-in because it just carries the flavor!» That’s all she had to say lol! My only no go was from the girlfriend on the potato wedges. She said they were not that great so we shared my mash… unfortunately for me lol! Great place and a huge recommendation. Great drinks too!

I can’t recommend this restaurant enough! My wife and I went as the last dinner on our 3 day honeymoon to St. Pete beach and it exceeded all expectations. The steak was incredible and the service we received was second to none. Our waiter(Greg) made excellent recommendations regarding our main entrée and wine selections and was attentive throughout our dining experience. If we ever return to the St. Petersburg area we will be returning here without a doubt!

It’s a traditional steak house– little dark inside, I’ve been 4 times and ask specifically for trish– every time. Super attentive, couldn’t ask for a better server. The salad is amazing, the cheesy bread you will be asking to take some home– and the port house is absolutely on point. It’s a steak house so it will be a touch pricey but– the quality and taste of the food and trish are worth it–

— Short Synopsis — Nice sized steaks with some good sides/appetizers. I loved the smoky flavor the steaks had. I will not be getting the cold, stiff carrot cake again though. — Detailed Summary — I like the décor and how some of the booths have fur and some of the tables look like part of a bed frame. For starters, I enjoyed the salad and the dressing they have. I really liked the fresh, hot garlic cheese dinner rolls! They had lots of flavors from the seasoning and were delicious. Plus, not many people don’t like garlic, cheese, and butter combined on bread. The bang bang shrimp was tasty! It was like popcorn shrimp coated in a tasty red creamy sauce that had a nice little kick to it. The sesame seeds also went well with it. It almost reminded me of an Asian dish with walnuts and shrimps. The porterhouse was delicious! The steak had a strong smoky flavor that I absolutely loved! Most steaks I have had do not have a strong smoky flavor like this one had. It was different and enjoyable. I got medium rare and they cooked it to my liking. The mashed potatoes were also amazing. Strong seasoning and flavors went well with potatoes. I also like the chunks of potatoes mixed it to provide some texture contrast. The only thing I didn’t like was the dessert. I normally like carrot cake, but this carrot cake was served pretty chilled. The server did tell us it was cold, but it changes the texture of the cake. The cold results in weird, harder textures from the cake and icing. It also made it a little dry. The taste was there, but I did not like the hardened texture. Maybe microwaving it could have saved it. I did like the taste and the caramel and sweet stuff around the cake. If it wasn’t for my carrot cake experience, this place would have been five stars to me. Regardless, I enjoyed my steak here and I would come here for a steak. Plus, you get a free steak on your birthday, so I will be back for that free steak!

Texas Cattlehouse has the best salad and it’s unlimited how awesome is that! The garlic cheese bread is soft and delish. Never knew you could sample wine(I didn’t but you learn something new everyday). The food came super fast… I ordered the steak kabob which was seasoned and cooked well. The loaded baked potato was great. My waiter was very friendly also. They have the sweetest sweet tea I’ve ever had in my life lol. I will be back on my next Florida trip.

A year later and the sides are delicious, but the meat had a heck of a lot of fat. If you watch Fresh Off the Boat, the décor of this restaurant reminds me of that family’s restaurant. If you were to turn up the Texas Steakhouse theme 100 notches, you’ve got this place. You will not look out of place in jeans, cowboy boots and a cowboy hat. If you are dining with a classy person, this might be a problem, but otherwise just enjoy the craziness of it. I adore the sides. The garlic cheese bread is to die for. It’s cheesy, buttery goodness. The mashed potatoes are also amazing. The house salad is very good. My disappointment was with the meat. I got the filet very rare. I love my meat bloody. It was cooked to perfection, but it was very very chewy. There was a lot of fat in it. I could barely chew it and ended up swallowing big chunks. They still have one of the best birthday deals in Tampa Bay, but with meat like that, I’m not sure if it is worth it. My husband’s birthday steak also contained a lot of fat, but he was lucky and was able to cut it off. We’ll have to reassess next year to see if we want to come back. If we do, I’ll probably get something other than steak.

I was a little disappointed this trip. The salad was still very good, our service was outstanding and the bread delicious but we come here for steak and I was a little let down. For a 1lb Ribeye there seemed to be a lot of chewy parts. It was over all just OK. The grilled flavors were great as usual but the cut of the meat seemed old and a little tough. We had a special that included Dang Bang shrimp, asparagus and butter which normally are a la carte so it was a pretty good deal but the steak let me down a little. Still one of our favorite steak places but I will hope to get a better cut next time and get this back up to a 4 or a 5.

Celebrated our 5 year anniversary here last minute. I appreciated(at 5 months pregnant) being able to have a good meal in shorts and sandals. Service was great. We were serve by a guy(last name Leche) who was very informative, funny and attentive so ask for him! The menu was to the point. Different cuts of steak or lobster. The appetizers were insanely delicious. We tried the chicken fried bacon, which is as unhealthy as it sounds, but wow… so damn good. We both ordered the ribeye which was about the size of our faces(and we have big faces) and was served with a side. The meal came with garlic cheese bread and unlimited salad. I myself had about 2 salads and 2 orders of bread(because it was that good) and couldn’t finish my dinner but was so happy with my meal. Ask for the truffle butter too, great compliment to the taste of the steak. I have nothing negative to say about this place. I can’t wait for another reason to visit this place and will be open to new things next time since the chicken fried bacon was such a delicious surprise.
