Stein Mart

The clothes in here are definitely on the mature side. Great place to go if you need something quick for your cousins wedding or something. Typical Florida housewares. Great shoe department though, and the prices are really good!

I suppose there are some who are Stein Mart fans but it’s not to my taste. A little on the grandmother-​y side. That being said, the few times I’ve ventured into this location out of desperation to find something in particular I’ve found it to be crowded, messy and more on the dingy side. Surprising, considering one of the nicest grocery stores in town anchors the shopping center it’s in.

This Stein Mart is close to my house, which is really the only reason I shop there. The dressing rooms are generally a mess and are run down, and today there was no attendant and no rack on which to place the clothes I chose not to buy. I ended up just leaving them in the dressing room, which apparently everyone was doing as the dressing rooms seemed full of rejected clothing. There is almost no sales staff on the store floor as far as I can tell, but the cashier that rung me up was very nice.
Today I was shopping for a summer dress to wear to a wedding and I was very disappointed in the selection. I did end up buying a dress on sale (which I liked, but probably not for the wedding), but I think that Stein Mart tends to have those «faux» sales all the time. My husband does like to go there when they have additional mark-​downs on clearance items to find things like golf shirts really cheap. Otherwise, the prices are not really that great. I do like the selection of jewelry and accessories that Stein Mart has.
I know I will continue to shop at this Stein Mart for convenience, but it is definitely not my favorite clothing store.

I love Stein mart in general. Great sales, great coupons, great selections and easy to get in and out of without having to hit a mall. I live like a mile away so that is a big draw I admit.
The shoe department has some decent options mixed in a sea of gereatric selections. Take a geritol and get to shopping!
In general tho, a great spot to grab an outfit, housewares or a gift.
