At one point in time, the HEC3 had inconvenient hours and was a little hard to find. Not so much now! This is the place to drop of your lithium ion batteries, broken phones and computer bits, old paint, and household chemicals instead of just tossing them in the landfill. During business hours, drive up, ring the bell if you don’t see an attendant, and hand them your old hazardous garbage while they collect your zip code info from you. It’s still a strange location, but it’s well-​marked from the road.
