Wife sent cat in for her summer cut. $ 45 for that service. Bill at pick up $ 187.00. According to them, our cat was going crazy so she had to be sedated. Didn’t allow us to come get our cat or check on her instead of sedate her «because she looked bad» so they proceeded to sedate her and finish the cut. Did not inform us that she had to be put through an exam (charged extra and not informed until pickup), then be sedated, then finished grooming. We were charged over $ 142.00 for services not needed. Cat has been groomed many times and never needed to be sedated for anything. Also, took our 2 dogs in for the kennel services for a weekend getaway a few months back, during the check-​in, we were asked a series of questions about added services they could provide, one being a bath (we denied all extra services, including the bath due to being groomed a few days earlier), when we came back from our weekend getaway, we were charged for 2 baths. We abruptly were caught of guard because we specifically remember denying the bath for each dog. This charged $ 15 and $ 21 extra for the 2 dogs. Terrible customer service and always upcharging and adding fees making you feel like you must purchase them because it has already been done. Disgraceful and terrible business ethics. Will never take our 3 animals to them again. Normally not a review person, but this has be absurd! Stay away from this place unless you would like to be taken advantage of.

Stay away from Dr. Jarrett and her staff. Unprofessional and lacking in basic commutation skills.

Adopted a pup from a great local rescue but my little guy had some health and emotional issues. Thanks to the great clinical and day care at Pets in The City, my pup is thriving. Cannot thank the folks at PITC enough

Unfortunately, it has been more than two weeks since I sent a letter to Dr. Scribano outlining my experience, but he hasn’t bothered to respond in any way. I have heard nothing more from Pets in the City or Northeast Animal Hospital. I have made an appointment for my cats with another vet.

I’ve been here twice so far with my pups. The first time was for a problem visit with his eye and Dr Scribano spent a fair chunk of time explaining things to me. The vet tech Isaac was really knowledgeable too. they spent time explaining my many options for vaccines and flea and heartworm preventative. We were back recently for his annual exam. The examine and his rabies injection was $ 64.I thought that was cheap and I thought that was going to be all I was charged. I didn’t realize when I booked the appointment that blood work and stool testing was not included in that price. even with having to pay for those two extra services his prices are still very fair and competitive. I appreciate that they’re very upfront with the pricing when they give you the options during the appointment. he doesn’t do anything without asking first and telling you how much it’s going to cost. he must do a good job when giving the injections because my pups didn’t flinch
grand total today for the exam vaccines heartworm check blood work stool sample and full groom was $ 241.The groom was 45 by itself. Everyone I’ve met there seems really nice and friendly. I also like that they have a day care on site too. So far I’ve only utilized the vet care side and
dog can’t wait to try the daycare. We’ll definitely be going back.
