I forgot her name but my stylist was so sweet and nice! I showed her the color I wanted and she got it exactly right. She knows what she’s talking about and she seems like a pro when it comes to color. I just moved here so I was so thankful to find a good stylist right away! She also cut my hair perfectly too. I’ll be going back when I need my hair done again

For the price, you can’t go wrong! My stylist was very nice. The haircut was rather simple — but I have very thick hair, and am not very adventurous with hairstyles — so she may have been playing it safe. But I love the products they used. My hair is very dry and she used this «recovery» serum. I am seeing immediate results with the texture! Although I had to wait a bit, the staff is very professional! I will definitely be back for another haircut.

This place is amazing! Not only is every service I’ve ever had been amazing, but the staff there is nothing short of wonderful.
From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted by smiling kind faces. Everyone there makes everyone feel special and important. If you are running in for a quick product purchase, or getting a service done, the smiles and great energy are a constant though the entire place! I’ve never seen a grumpy person, or felt less than anyone’s top priority in this salon. (And I’ve been to several aveda salons) They are not all the same. Trust me.
If you are wanting what I was, great service, without the stress of dealing with unpleasant people, this is where to go.
This is my salon home. I will never go anywhere else!

I am fortunate to live within walking distance of Mission Aveda, but if I had to drive an hour it would be worth it! I’ve been an extremely satisfied customer for over 3 years. The salon is beautiful; the staff is warm, friendly and fun — you’re greeted with a hug and a delicious cup of herbal tea. Recently I had a facial with Jennifer — she is a gem and truly cares about her client. You’ll melt while she gives a relaxing, nourishing Aveda facial. Molly’s been doing my hair and is very talented and a lot of fun — you can tell she loves what she does. I could go on and on, but check it out for yourself. You won’t be disappointed!

I had a massage and facial there with Jennifer and just LOVE her. She was so funny and just had the most wonderful energy! Since it was my first facial, she took time to explain everything she was doing and really made me comfortable. I would definitely recommend going to her!
She gave me some free samples to take after my visit but never once tried to pressure me to buy any product, that made the experience even better and I’ll definitely go back there.
The worst part about it was that my 2 hrs went by so fast… But there’s always another day & I’ll be requesting Jennifer for sure!

I arranged a trial run here for my wedding day hair and Make up. I was a bit of a difficult customer because I was an out of town bride. They were able to do great trial runs as well as incorporate new ideas on the day of. And they have some serious skills!
I find their prices to be on par for hair and make up. They were great to work with!

I have tried quite a few salons in the area and this is by far the best in terms of quality cuts and color. I have only gone to Christy (sp?) so I can only speak for her ability. I have curly hair that is fine and tends to change texture (dry/​frizzy to oily) with the seasons. Also as I’ve gotten older my hair color has gotten lighter so I dye it a bit darker to stay true to what I had growing up. Christy is the first person to give me beautiful, natural looking hair color that resembles what I had prior to my hair lightening. I’m a redhead and most have given me color that is too orange, too coppery, or heavy dark cherry to come close to something natural looking. Christy completely nails. it. She’s also a wiz with retro/​vintage hairstyles and updos. I’ve come to her for a few special occasions and she always makes me look spectacular. I get nothing but compliments. She’s great about giving me samples of the products she uses on my hair to let me try them at home to see if I like them enough to purchase an entire bottle. I love this approach. No pressure to buy something you may use a couple of times and hate.
I will say that if you decide to try Christy out you will probably need to call well in advance. She is incredibly popular and books up fast.

I really liked this salon. They had an opening when I needed one, which is great, of course. They were professional, timely, clean and friendly. For Aveda, I find their pricing to in line with what I would expect. Thank you!

Love this place! I made my first ever hair styling appointment with Matt here a few months ago. Yes, my first ever in 26 years. I had no idea what to ask for, but they were so helpful. This salon has the best customer service of any business I’ve seen in a while. The woman who booked my appointment on the phone helped me figure out exactly what I needed. When I arrived they all seemed to know it was my first time and were super helpful and friendly. Matt did an AMAZING job on my very unruly curly hair. I went bold with bright red hair and it turned out GREAT. I’ve been back a few times and it always turns out perfect. Keep up the good work!

I could not rave about this salon more. I have recently moved out of the state but my family is still in town and every time I am home to visit, I schedule an appointment. The salon makes you feel like family and remembers you after the first visit! The stylists are fantastic and you really feel like you’re being pampered, even if it is just a 30 minute men’s haircut. Shawn is my go-​to hairstylist and Renee is a fantastic esthetician! Yes, you pay more than your down the street walk-​in place but it is DEFINITELY worth it!

Moved here three months ago from DC and wasn’t sure what to expect from salons here. I used to get my hair cut at Vidal Sassoon in DC. However, I got a superb haircut here (I think better than I got in DC) for WAY less than I used to pay. In addition, I have gotten some massages here– which have been the best as well. Overall, I can’t say enough to recommend the salon. The people at the front desk are pleasant and helpful (not always something you experience in salons) and the services outstanding.

I moved to St Pete from Ohio three years ago and one of the hardest things to give up was my stylist– I knew it would be VERY hard to find someone as good as her. After a little trial and error at some other salons, I ended up with Nicola at Misson Aveda and I will NEVER go to anyone else– she is amazing! I like to get highlights and she is a genious with color. I always end up with perfect highlights– not brassy and never any roots showing. On top of the fact that she’s great at doing hair, she is an absolutely lovely person! You can tell that she really cares about the entire experience enjoyable– she always offers me a drink, makes sure I’m comfortable and always has a stack of my favorite magazines waiting. She is the best and I’d recommend her to anyone!

After living all over Tampa Bay, Orlando and Chicago, I have tried salons by the handful in search of the perfect match. Finding a stylist to call your own is like finding your soul mate. It must be done if I am going to feel like my life is in order … and I found the best!
Matt is my stylist, and has been for the past several months. I have gone from conservative shoulder-​length with curls, to asymmetrical, to now a short edgy cut I insisted upon and only trusted Matt to pull off. Matt listens, learns what you like, and if you have a change of heart after shampooing yourself at home … although he can’t glue the hair back he already took off, he can always tweak things to make it a bit more workable — and is ready to do so to make a client happy. He’s patient, gives a great scalp massage, and is not only a great stylist, but my FAVORITE I have had, in all the cities I have had the pleasure of calling home for a little while.
The salon is always a positive atmosphere. Good music, stylists often join in and sing along, tea/​water is always offered, and I always leave with a great big smile. I haven’t tried a massage or skin treatment yet, but when I do I will report back. In the meantime, give Matt a call. Mission AVEDA is a great St. Pete salon, with prices that aren’t unbearable and a great staff to make you feel good about yourself when you need to freshen up your look.
