They don’t even need a happy hour their drinks are so affordable. I go here knowing I’ll leave having met great people. You don’t have to be concerned with anything else other than drinks and having fun. Plus, the staff is friendly enough to keep conversations around the bar going. No smoking inside, which is great. And the location is in a good spot. I also go here because I love trying new drinks and I don’t have to be nervous about spending a few extra dollars to do so.

Great neighborhood type friendly bar. You feel welcomed by staff and customers. Have been frequenting this establishment for years since their Grand Opening. Bartenders change every so often but steadier than most bars. Customers are pretty much the same ones which is good & bad. The night life there is more active and changes a bit more than days. Overall, 1 of the best bars in St Pete with minimal drama. ;-)

I stopped in the other night… on Good Friday to be exact. One of the Bartenders was there (off duty) and dressed as Jesus. Running around the bar waving large spikes/​nails. Offensive. Not funny. I won’t be back.

A smallish little hole in the wall of a gay bar but totally friendly, totally pleasant, clean and nice. The inside is well lighted, the patrons and bar tender super friendly and the décor, though not much to speak of, nice enough and somewhat whimsical with a tiny little single table alcove room.
Smoking is not permitted inside but there is a patio facing the street, can seat about 10 people comfortably, where smoking is permitted.
Because of its smallishness and the fact that when I was there they weren’t playing and loud or disco (Gawd forbid) music, everyone is able to readily engage in conversation while enjoying their drinks, which by the way, are pretty good. So, for a friendly little gay bar wherein you have a chance to meet and converse with people, I liked it and am going Four Stars on it.

This is by far my favorite gay bar in St. Pete. It’s laid back and chill and the drinks are super cheap. You even get to play your own music on the jukebox. The only downside is that it’s a pretty small space. They seriously need to consider expanding the outdoor area.

Small bar gay bar. The drinks are cheap and strong! The bartenders are friendly. This place has a lot regulars. Lucky Star has great margaritas on Sundays. One of my favorite little places to hang out.

Cheap drinks and casual conversation. I don’t hang out here often, but when I do, I like to have a few drinks and drum up some idle chatter to pass the time. It is a quaint little place that is never crowded and the temperatuere is always right and the drinks are storng.
