What a great place to meet the neighborhood people and relax in a hip safe environment. I am going to be a regular at this «dive» bar. I encourage everyone to at least stop in and enjoy the atmosphere

2 stars because I’m feeling nice
This is just a neighborhood bar. Don’t go out of your way to come here. ZERO parking, a loud atmosphere, tiny cramped location, and no draft beer put this place at the bottom of my go-​to bar list. Add in a few tv’s which, you can really only see 2 if your at the end of the bar and seriously, I just can’t figure out what’s so special about this place. All of the great reviews must be from northerners who are used to paying high prices for bottled beer or from people who live right around the corner. $ 3 Miller lite bottles… stop it.

JWags is a great neighborhood dive bar. Attractive bar tenders, cheap drinks and a solid juke box and occasional live music. The owner is very down to earth. Only downside is it can get a bit smokey so I always try and sit outside.

Great place if you live within biking or walking distance… and the sidewalk bar means you don’t even have to go inside if you don’t want to. If you live in Crescent Lake/​Crescent Heights, this can’t be beat for convenience. If you have to drive, there are better options for cheap drinking.

This place is everything a dive bar should be. They have the cheapest, strongest drinks I’ve purchased in St. Pete. I seriously cannot calculate how inexpensive my orders are because I’ll buy a round for my friends and I and it’s always under $ 10 (and I’m calling grey goose and ordering Stellas). If you order a double short, it’s literally an entire rocks glass full of booze with a splash of whatever you mixed. If this does not appeal to you, stick to singles.
They also have a great jukebox and a dart board. They have fun, friendly patrons who you are forced to mingle with because of how small the bar is, but that’s okay because they are fun and friendly as mentioned above. Last time we were there, a dance contest broke out spontaneously and the bartender rapped a verse of one of the songs over the mêlée. Sound fun? Come on down.

A perfect dive bar for all the just off of 4th st residents. Drinks are strong and cheap, and energy is inviting. It’s def the kind of place you roll into with a group of good friends and leave as a drunk group of good friends. For those from the neighborhood it works out even better, u get trashed and then fall back into the back streets like the children from the corn… backstreets

Love this dive bar! Cheap strong drinks with some pretty cool bartenders. Parking is quite a pain but there is plenty of street parking in the neighborhood.
