JJ’s Market & Delicatessen

Great place for lunch! My office has added JJ’s Market as a staple for lunch catering and it’s always a treat. There are a variety of fresh salad and sandwich options. I really enjoy the caprese sandwich and the southwest fresh salad. You won’t be disappointed!

The Cuban sandwich was average, but I’m giving them 5 stars bc of the Palma Ceia sandwich and service (friendly, had great recommendations, and they were really nice to my baby). Soooo good and the sandwich was STACKED.

Great food prepared quickly while you wait, which was only about a 4 – 5 minute wait for a scratch made sandwich. I looked around the packaged food for sale while I waited & found great hard to find delicacies. The customer service is outstanding & the fresh daily Cuban bread is worth the trip in itself. This may be my new go-​to deli.

Do yourself a favor and stop in and you won’t be disappointed. You can have breakfast, lunch or dinner and even grab a few drinks. Until recently, I had only had catering from JJ’s but stopped in to grab some lunch. If you need something catered, definitely check out their menu. They offer a nice variety of salads, sandwiches, wraps, and hot food. They are also very accommodating and cater to your budget and party size. I usually order for work lunches and everyone loves their food. You should definitely try the edamame salad. Everything is extremely fresh and reasonably priced for the amount of food that you are getting. The market is under new management and they are extremely nice. The menu was recently updated and everything I’ve tried has been delicious.

First time here. Great selection of breakfast sandwhiches. Has the El Camino. Very good. Will have to try lunch next time.

I am so glad that I came here for lunch a few weekends ago. The ladies that work here were so friendly and the food was great. The seating area was clean with lots of natural light coming in. I have no complaints!
I ordered the BLT +E sandwich which came out warm; I could tell it was freshly made. The maple aioli just brought everything together. I will definitely order it again when I return. I also had the Pork Chili which was very tasty and filling. Great prices for the quality and portion.

Fantastic lunch place! Lots of tasty options on the menu, our food was delicious, the staff is friendly and it’s a great value! We don’t live here, but if/​when we come back to St Pete, we’ll definitely return for more!

(1) Had «El Maduro» — Wow! It was a perfectly executed breakfast sandwich. Fried eggs with runny yolk, fresh avocado, bacon, and lots of cheese… Very impressed with the quality of ingredients they use. Great price as well @ $ 4.99, which is about how much breakfast meals at McDonald’s cost nowadays.
(2) Pork chili was nice and spicy!
(3) Clean interior and great vibe overall — Server (or owner? She looked like she was the owner… Something about the way she carried herself as if she owned the place) was friendly and soft spoken! She even brought the food to the table and thanked us for coming. As for the interior, it’s spotless and tidy. There’s outdoor seating as well for sunny days. Oh, they also have several beer/​wine selections.

What an awesome lunch place. I wish it was even closer to Carillon; it would be a Godsend for the slim pickings this office park area has.
This place is extremely fresh. I have never had homemade rotisserie chicken on any old chicken sandwich. All of their sandwiches go the extra mile in the toppings that they have. Plus, their sides are incredible, all presented before you behind the deli glass display. The edamame salad is a perfect light thing to have with a sandwich.
I’m really surprised as to how cheap everything is for how fresh it is. They could easily be charge $ 2 more for things if they were downtown.
And I haven’t even tried breakfast yet, but that looks incredible.

Home made food! Yummy salad. very good soup of the day a chicken n wild rice. Freshly made chicken good mozzarella. Had a breakfast menu too. Items in the case looked good for take home. Some healthy things to boot!

We love this little deli at the entrance of St. Pete! Fresh ingredients and the new menu is awesome. The price is fair for quality food. If you’re looking for cheap and tasteless, go to Subway instead. I would recommend JJ’s to all of my family and friends. Bonus: they serve breakfast all day.

If you’re looking to have a great sando or side, JJ’s is the jam! Awesome staff, rad craft beer & wine selection, and tasty sandwiches & sides. Dope artwork and Kahwa coffee to boot! Two very enthusiastic thumbs up.

Our band stopped in here for lunch today. We immediately received a warm greeting from the staff. The area itself is clean and spacious.
All of us were impressed with the quality of the food and left very satiated. The beer selection here looks great as well. If I lived in the area, I’d probably be here everyday!
There’s really something to be said for down to earth, friendly service. Check this place out!

Great food, that’s made to order at a great price! Want to have a beer while you’re at it? BOOM, they have a beer cave! Coldest beer in town! They have a sandwich of the day so even if you’ve had everything there’s still something new to taste! Good for one or two coworkers or for a whole group, lots of space and very accommodating!

I swung by on the way home yesterday and I’m sorry I haven’t been here before then.
Everything at the deli counter looked amazing. There was meatloaf, buffalo chicken, apple stuffed pork loin… just to name a few. They also have different specials everyday that they can heat up there, or that you can throw in the oven when you get home. Yesterday, the special was a beer braised chicken enchilada with corn. It was out of this world. The chicken was super tender and juicy and every ingredient stood out. All I did was put it in the oven for 10 minutes and I had a gourmet meal for less than $ 10. I would have easily paid $ 20 for it at a restaurant, and I doubt it would have been this good.
I washed it down with a Cheerwine in a glass bottle, so hats off to them for carrying the best soda ever made!
As a bonus, I grabbed a massive rice krispie treat, too and it was the best rice krispie treat I’ve ever had.
Super cool place and absolutely killer food. Anyone driving on Gandy in the morning or afternoon that’s not stopping in here is seriously missing out. I know because I missed out for too long.

Strange place to find such interesting and fresh food. With menu items such as Buffalo cauliflower, homemade crab cakes, and Kale Ceasar salad, this is one of my go-​to spots for lunch.
They also serve an array of sandwiches and side items to fit most anyone’s taste. While I have not been there for dinner, they always have an appetizing special running.

Visited twice for lunch at the end of February while working in St. Pete. They have quite a selection of wraps, sandwiches and panninis. They also make different sides daily.
First lunch I had the chicken pesto — fresh bread, pesto loaded with basil the way I like it and the chicken itself was juicy and well-​seasoned.
Second lunch was a turkey panini and it was good. The guy behind the counter even was nice enough to go digging in the cooler to locate me the last Dr. Pepper in the place as their delivery guy was 3 days late. That’s my kind of customer service.

I knew as soon as I walked in at the food was going to be delicious! I was right! Very friendly cashier took my order, in quickly brought us our sandwiches. To place to sit inside and outside. You could also grab some groceries on your way. Will definitely be back!
