There is a small section on the northern part of the park(just east of the fire station) with a walking/running trail that I use frequently. It’s a nice trail, although short and a little unexciting, but good for some exercise. I rarely go to the southern part of the park. My only complaint is that there are often some homes less people who use this place as a home and they often leave their trash on the ground. I’ve also seen teens and kids here smoking and doing sexual things. So sometimes, this park can get kinda trashy, but it’s still nice for a quick walk or run.

Fossil Park has a lot for the kids to do: baseball fields, pools with slides, playground, indoor area, batting cages and concession stands. It has picnic areas and a walking trail too. I go for the walking trail but be prepared to get dirty. The trail is a mix of sidewalk, gravel and dirt. Good distance walking trail but I only go here to meet a friend who’s son practices with his baseball team while we walk. I wouldn’t go here to get a peaceful walk or a strong workout as it’s usually packed after school with kids and teams practicing along the path.

Nice bruh! It’s just the skatepark. A lot of douches and crap kids go there, but We’ve never talked to each other, I’ve actually have gotten a compliment.

Wow-fresh air-nice pond-some of the straightest pine trees I’ve seen in Pinellas County-what else could a man want? Coming here since I was a kid playing ball-truly a hidden gem in North St Pete!!!

Definitely not the best park around. Always dirty… parking is terrible. horribly crowded Ito use any facilities. I’d choose any other park before I go here.

Wouldn’t count this as a park really… I was expecting something like Crescent Lake Park or Freedom Lake Park, but on a smaller scale. This just felt like an extension of the Willis S Johns Rec Center. Parking is right outside of the rec center. There is a pool– I’m assuming just for members though. There is a small skate park, a children’s playground, baseball fields, basketball courts and tennis courts. No dog park or paths to walk that I saw. I sat at a picnic table to get out of the sun. There was trash EVERYWHERE. Like people just ate and left their trash on the tables and the floor– trash can right next to the picnic tables, guys. I’ll pass.
