Good date night(or daytime date) activity. There are usually five to six stops in this walking tour with a nice variety of food selections at each business. Ask for Candy Man to head up your tour if he is available because he is really good at downtown history and making everyone feel right at home along the way. Our stops: Kalamazoo, Crowleys, Wood Fired Pizza, Meze 119, Le Macaron, and savory spice shop Lots of local indie businesses! This would also be a great way to treat guests from out of town.

I have been on two Eat.Sip.Indulge. food tours… both the Gulfport tour and the downtown St. Pete tour. I had a fabulous time at both. Deborah, the owner, was our tour guide in Gulfport and she was very friendly and knowledgeable about all of the restaurants we visited. I am a St. Petersburger, so was really happy to visit many restaurants in Gulfport that I had walked by many times but had never tried. On the St. Pete tour, I had tried several of the restuarants before but there were also several that were new to me. Our tour guide in St. Pete, Chane, was fabulous. Such a great guy. Both tours included a great variety of food and restaurants and I definitely left both of them very full and excited to return to many of the restaurants for a full meal some time. I would recommend the Eat.Sip.Indulge. tours to visitors and locals alike!

Found this business through Keep Saint Petersburg Local. I highly recommend this tour for people coming in from out of town, but I live here and still found it very interesting and loved re visiting some of my favorite spots. The prices are reasonable and the tour guides are very energetic. I plan on going back for the Gulfport tour next and I know we will have a great time

As out-of-towners, we never would have known about wonderful Gulfport without Eat.Sip.Indulge. food tour. We were in St. Petersburg on a Tuesday and found out the tour offered that day would be to the restaurants in the art area of Gulfport. We’ll be back for a weekend for an art walk and to re-visit several of the restaurants we sampled on the tour. We loved the history and sense of community in Gulfport that our tour guide/owner Deborah, shared with us. We especially enjoyed the restaurant owners’ stories,

I bought 2 tickets for Eat.Sip.Indulge. as a Christmas present for my «foodie» boyfriend and we went on the Gulfport Saturday Afternoon tour and had an amazing time. Not only was the food amazing, but our tour guide, Deborah Molise, told us a lot of neat facts about the history of Gulfport and lead a fun tour. It was nice to meet the owners of the restaurants and try something different than I normally would. I would highly recommend this tour! Pia’s, La Cote Baque, Tea & Me were all great! And we will def. be back to Village Pub for more fish tacos soon!

EatSipInduldge is a great idea and really fun to go with friends, or alone to meet new people. The owner is personable and provides history about the city and other«did you know» tidbits for those interested. I do agree with the first reviewer, the activity is not worth more than say $ 15 and each business should have an incentive to return. The Spice Shop employees were the most attentive and friendly. Meze 119 offered the most dishes to sample(I didn’t particularly care for their dishes but glad to have tried them). The others, however, either were inattentive or, really didn’t offer enough food for everyone to try. At Le Macaron, we only sampled one macaron. Sab Café, which we returned to the next day, was by far the best stop on the tour. The only drawback was that there was not enough of each dish to go around. I also found it a bit unsanitary for everyone to eat out the same dish, which went from table to table. My least favorite stop was Crowley’s as the server didn’t speak and the one dish we sampled was fried, very oily and tasteless. I totally think EatsipInduldge is a great way to try new establishments in St. Pete; my suggestion is to purchase a discount voucher.

My sister and I went on the food tasting tour through Eat.Sip.Indulge this last weekend. We bought a deal on Living Social for $ 19 each for a 2 hour tasting tour. We really went in blind because I couldn’t find a website or any previous reviews online and the deal didn’t list out what was included in the tour. We were quite pleased! The normal price was $ 26 and we paid $ 19. I think around $ 20 would be fine but $ 26 seems a little high for the tour in my opinion. The tour guide, Gabriel was very friendly and he did a great job. We started at Hooker Tea Co. We had a tea tasting– one small cup. Stop #2 was a Savory Spice Shop down the street. This was my favorite stop. The people working were very nice and helpful. I bought 3 seasonings and am very excited to use them. Prices seemed fair and there were recipe cards all around the store to go with the spices and seasonings. There was some cider out and small brownie bites and they had a flat bread cracker with a seasoning in it. It was very tasty. The next stop was Sweet Divas– a sweets and gelato/ice cream shop/gift shop next door. We had a complimentary chocolate here. I had the salted caramel– yum! The people at the shop were very nice. The next stop was Kalamazoo Olive Co.- an olive oil and balsamic vinegar shop. There were samples all over for people to try in little cups. I wished they provided some bread or crackers along with the samples because it was a bit weird just taking little shots of olive oil and balsamic vinegar alone with nothing to soak it up. Employees here were nice, too. Our last stop was the Cupcake Shop. We thought the cupcakes here were not very good, sorry to say. We got a free cupcake with the tour though. They just were very average. I’ve had better cupcakes from a box. The people working were friendly. Our last treat was a macaron from Le Macaron. I had the pistachio. The texture was very light and flaky but I found my flavor overwhelmingly sweet. Overall I would recommend this tour. I don’t think we got $ 19 worth of treats but the tour guide was very nice and gave us some fun little facts along our walking tour. Wear comfortable shoes! I think the stores should offer some sort of special deal or small % off for the tour guests, even 10% would be nice. Honestly I think each store should offer a little something extra for the tour guests. It sounds like they offer other tours as well which sounded fun.
