First time we had eaten at the new location. The building and décor are a great improvement and are nice and modern. It was busy on a Saturday night but we were seated quickly. Mostly families including people of all ages. The cute waitress was attentive and pleasant. Service was reasonably quick given that they were full. Overall the food was ho-hum. The minestrone soup was very good and my wife liked her salad. The main courses… not so much. The ravioli was pasty(possibly undercooked) and the sauce was mediocre. Her spaghetti was OK but she was not excited about it. Rolls were a bit dry and boring. There was plenty of it. The menu is pages long and there is a lot of variety available. They would probably be better off of they focused on making a shorter list of choices taste better. We know better Italian restaurants, but this one is close to home. If we come back, that will be the reason.

First visit to a simple restaurant. What are their CD Roma chicken catchatotie sic. Chicken Pieces were dry and lacked flavor. There were so many large slices of Bellpepper that it overwhelmed any of the other flavors in the dish. Service was friendly and nice. The overly large portion did not compensate for the lack of unity in the flavor that eclipsed the marinara sauce.

Huge portion sizes and tasty food. The unhealthier the food, the better it tastes. Seriously. I made the mistake of getting a side of veggies with my Honey Balsamic Chicken and it was the worst part of the meal. It tasted like it was frozen and out of a bag. However, if you just stick to the rule to order everything that sounds unhealthy, you’ll be good to go. And that is not me being facetious, the alfredo was amazing, loved the fried ravioli… etc. I should have known better and got the garlic mashed potatoes with the chicken instead. I love all the décor on the walls. For some reason, it reminds me of Via Napoli in Epcot. It is almost trying too hard to be Italian, but it works. I wanted to take some of the things off the wall and decorate my own place with them! It was moderately busy on a Saturday evening at 7 p.m. Full enough that you know the food must be pretty good, but not too busy that you have to wait long. They brought bread sticks to the table. They were ok, but nothing to write home about. We got the fried ravioli. It was really good, not greasy tasting at all. It came with marinara and an aioli sauce. We ended up using the dips for our bread sticks too. I got the Honey Balsamic Chicken and my husband got the Chicken Alfredo. He wanted the Chicken Parmesan, but they were already sold out! The portion sizes are huge. Although the pasta isn’t made in house, I think the sauces are. I loved the alfredo sauce. It tasted very creamy and decadent. I liked the Honey Balsamic Chicken, but I was disappointed that I didn’t taste the truffle oil. I would probably stick to just ordering pasta next time. We finished with the Italian donuts. They remind me of beignets. Again, the portion sizes are huge. They were good as well, but not something I would probably get again. But I’m also not that big a fan of fried dough. Chocolate is more my thing. You could probably feed two people with one dish. You definitely get a bang for your buck. I would definitely suggest people check this place out. My husband is already planning our trip back.

Solid casual Italian and an incredible value! We dine here 2 – 3 times a month. Pizzas are solid, try the white pizza and add spinach~delish. Their meatballs are spot– on. Outstanding and huge eggplant parm. Service is friendly and they make their own craft beer! Friendly owner always stops to say hello. Tucked behind Publix @ Royale Shoppes. Give it a try!

Decent pizza in St Pete. The location is nice, complete with outside seating for those rare mild Florida nights. I tried their house made honey basil ale, which sounded awesome, but sadly ended up a lacking any honey or basil flavor. Bummer! My fiancé had an IPA and enjoyed it a lot. I also asked for a water but it never came. We decided to share the large(16″) Lil’ Louie pizza which had pepperoni, ham, onion, and crushed red pepper. The toppings were fresh and the crust was crispy, but neither of us were big fans of the sauce(something about it… too sweet perhaps). I loved their double decker pizza serving pans which gave us room to actually eat and not have the pizza take up the whole table. The pizza was large enough for us to take half home the next day and we enjoyed it then too. I’d love to come back and try some pasta dishes because this place definitely has potential. Our server and all of the employees we came in contact with were very friendly and helpful. A lot of other tables seemed to be ordering pasta so maybe they know something I don’t!

The last time I was here was when I was in high school at the OLD restaurant(if anyone remembers that). Very nice set up inside, comfy booths, nice staff. Our pizza took a little longer than anticipated but was tasty, their presentation was the most intriguing. They slice the pizza in half and place each half on different tiers to bring out to the table. Have local crafted beers on tap from Mastry’s brewing. Good selection of food.

Went here for dunch I guess you’d call it(4pm). Had the sausage and peppers and wings. Both had really good flavor! I wish I had the recipe of the seasoning on the wings. Price was definitely decent. Bread was just ok. Pasta to sauce ratio on my dish was favoring the sauce much more. I had to ask for another order of pasta to finish gopping up the sauce. The bread is ok. Service was good and setting was average. I would go again if back in that area.

I have been coming to Cd Roma’s for over 10 years. I love this place! The old locations was a bit more home style feeling and cozy and the new spot has a more modern vibe to it. I applaud the change in style with the change in times. Too many places get stuck doing the same thing over and over again. I am glad to see that the food is still delicious. The Chicken Parm, Eggplant Parm, house salad and Alfredo are some of my favorites and they have great pizza. The alfredo sauce is made to order and taste amazing with their breadsticks. Some appetizer items leave something to be desired like the frozen cheesesticks or calimari. I would love to see these replaced with better quality items. Overall, I still love this place and would choose it over Olive Garden any day. I do miss the homey old school vibe from the old location but I also miss the good old days when people talked to each other, fragglerock ruled and hip hop was Wu Tang Clan. Oh well…

Very disappointed they no longer have the salad & pizza bar! Used to go to other location all the time, moved away & thought they closed. Then I realized they relocated & was excited about having salad there; I loved the salad bar. Was hoping for a piece of pizza for dinner and some salad. Not anymore:-(Not unless you want to order a whole pizza!

I used to come here for lunch almost everyday because of how awesome the food is, so last night, I came here to dinner with a friend who has never tried it. Let me start off by saying our server was the best of the best. She was attentive, funny, and very accommodating to our personalizations of our meals. The atmosphere is very comfortable, and I’m glad to see more people in from when they opened! I ordered the Manicotti, with mozzarella layered on top. It was perfection. It was a great dinner portion, though I had to take some home! My friend had the Cajun Shrimp Alfredo and loved it. They ordered it spicy, and it was perfect. I will start coming back more — I have missed this quality of italian food!

Awesome lunch!!! I haven’t been here since they moved from their old location— I’ve been missing out! Walked in and were seated promptly by a sweet girl. Ordered water and breadsticks with marinara sauce. Bread was fresh and piping hot!!! Their menu is huge and meets all price points. Ordered kids cheese pizza(kids eat free Wednesday nights) — pizza looked AMAZING and my daughter loved it! It was huge for a kids menu item. Perk for having leftovers another day. I ordered their steak and cheese sandwich– it was huge and delicious. Served with a side of pasta. I was full after eating the sandwich and brought the pasta home for leftovers. My mom ordered the Italian stallion sandwich– which she raved about and was also huge. She ate half and brought home half with her side pasta. Our server was really nice and prompt with refills and service. I can’t wait to come back and try more off their menu!!!

Ok I came back. Here visiting mom and we wanted manicotti. It is just as delicious and creamy as always. It’s the best I have had anywhere. Even in New York they serve this dry flaky stuff. Not here. Service was great. I guess they are strict about closing hours.

This is the some of the best pizza i’ve found in the area, maybe the best. You get an 18 inch pizza for $ 13.99 which is a steal for what you get. the slices are big and filling. the cheese may be the highest quality i’ve ever had on a pizza and they lay it on thick. the crust is thick enough to support the weight of the cheese and robust, well seasoned sauce but not too thick that it becomes doughy or bready. 3 slices filled me up and i usually finish 14 inch pizzas by myself. chris was a friendly, personable server.

Karla, our waiter was the nicest person ever. She should be promoted to manager. She really understands customer service! I have less to say about the food. We ordered a veggie 14″ pizza. The only thing that was good on it was the crust which was nice and crispy. There was like 3 pounds of cheese on it that was dripping down the sides in a gou-like oily mess. The vegetables were not seasoned or cooked before-hand at all. It was like eating raw veggies covered in oil with some crispy bread. I only ate the crusts and my boyfriend only managed a slice before quitting. What a waste of food! I would highly recommend that a) they let people know they pile on cheese and let them be able to say ‘light on the cheese’ b) do something for the veggies before you put them on a pizza. Give them some flavor.

Good food, big portions, friendly service and located in a shopping area with other businesses(Publix, Aveeda salin, nail place). We had a Living Social coupon for a shared appetizer and dessert, soup or salad, bread sticks and entrée. We half expected smaller portions since we paid less than half the price. We had regular-sized portions. We had a terrible experience the last time we used a LS deal at a local cross fit gym so we expected less than stellar service. But we had an excellent experience here. Carla was an awesome hostess. We were treated like the other regular-paying customers. The last time we were here was 6 years ago. They moved to a new location about a year ago. The food and location is better than ever. We will definitely come back to try the pizza menu and for more happy hour!

Let my first start by saying that the old location had the best sauce and best meatballs ever. I tried the new location twice now. Everything is different. Sauce is mediocre, pasta was overcooked, meatballs were tough. I’m so disappointed that they changed their food with their location because it used to be amazing. Location is nice, that’s about all I can say unfortunately.
