Good ice cream try the Cinnamon(very) popular located in the Don Caesar Hotel but has a street level entrance. One scoop is plenty

Such a cute little ice cream parlor located in the Don CeSar! Beware of the crowds, both from the hotel and general public, which can make moving around in the shop a little tricky. The line moves fast, though, and there are options available for even the pickiest eaters. Prices can be a little steep depending on what you order, but no more so than the other ice cream shops up and down the beach. And really, if you are going here, you are probably on vacation, so spend a little more for special treats!

After a full day of snorkeling, the ice cream was delicious. It is located inside of the hotel, but if you ask they will let you park for free. They had a wide variety of flavors and Starbucks coffee. Seating is in an air conditioned room with old fashioned tables.

Located in the ground floor of the historic Don Cesar Resort on St Pete Beach, this high quality ice cream shop served as the original entrance of the hotel. This place has a juke box with 1950s &1960s tunes playing, creating a real cool old fashioned nostalgic vibe. At $ 5.50 for a double scoop or a sundae, this is a little on the pricier side. There is a huge selection with 40 flavors of ice cream. They offer free samples so you can be sure you are getting something you like. I got the chocolate fudge brownie and Making Whoopie and they were both awesome! Parking is available for $ 25 per day. Service was quick as it wasn’t too busy.

This is a high quality ice cream shop on the ground floor of the Don CeSar Hotel. You can sample before you buy and they have some fun flavors. It’s not cheap but it’s a tasty treat and the offerings are rich and delicious. Waffle cones and chocolate dipped waffle cones and sugar cone and classic cones are options. They also have some candy offerings. It’s a 50s dinerish type style place. No views, but you can take and walk on the beach. Enjoy!!!

Maybe I’m biased because I’ve been coming here for going on twelve years now, but Uncle Andy’s is absolutely one of the best ice cream shops on St. Pete Beach. We used to walk across the old drawbridge and treat ourselves to ice cream on lazy afternoons on our visits. Traveling across the bridge to the big pink fairy castle to get the best ice cream around is still worth it. It’s definitely got an old-timey feel still, with old arcade games and vintage prints of the Don hanging on the walls. The coffee corner still stands for people who(for whatever forsaken reason) don’t want ice cream. The coffee smell just adds to the charm. The ice cream itself definitely has that homemade taste. It’s not super-smooth like superstore brand ice cream would be, but you can feel the texture of it. The flavors aren’t extremely plentiful, but what they have are classics and perfect. Their malts and sundaes are supposed to be pretty good, but I’ve never strayed from my chocolate scoops! The only real complaint is wow, super pricey. It should come expected, though, given that it is there as part of the Don Ce Sar Resort. It was about $ 14 for two separate cones, and then a ridiculous $ 7 for two bottles of water(what!?). The memories I have with this place may make me lean towards five stars, but I think it deserves it either way.

Around $ 4 a scoop. Not bad. Very good ice cream though. It’s hard to see it, but it’s under the hotel. Parking might suck since they only have a private parking lot for the hotel guests. Friendly customer service. Awesome ice cream. Definitely will come back.

Very good old style ice cream. Back when I was a kid, Uncle Andy’s was just so-so. However, in the past 10+ years or so, they’ve really improved the quality of their ice cream. The ice cream is rich, flavorful, and on point. They offer a nice variety of flavors, shakes, sundaes, etc. the servers are usually courteous and friendly – service with a smile. They also offer a variety of candies/confectionaries, cookies, pastries, etc, as well as morning coffee. Amazingly, they’ve managed to maintain some old school games, including a Ms Pac-man table style arcade game. This adds to the old school charm of the facility. Located in the ground floor of the historic(and pink) Don Cesar. Parking can be a little difficult for non-hotel guests.

I remember coming here and having a really good malt back in the early 2000’s so this past summer I had to try it again. Ever since«The Don» had been re-branded to the Lowe’s extreme I worried if this place would lose its charm. My answer is it hasn’t! The vanilla malt is still one of the best I’ve ever had and this is a place I’ll try and go to each time I visit. The only thing stopping this from a 5-star is the size, maybe it’s because it tastes so good, but I can pound through a malt pretty fast!

Ice cream makes me happy. Ice cream on the beach, I am on cloud 9. Uncle Andy’s been around forever. My best friend used to hang out here when she was in high school — and that was a LONG tme ago… I had banana pudding ice cream. I love banana cream pie — and when i go handel’s ice cream, i get the same thing. It was quite banana-y. Had bits of nilla wafers. They have a wide variety of flavors including sorbets. The guys scooping ice cream and making sundaes were very friendly and cute. A major star. :D I would come back here next time i come home.

A little pricey but the ice cream was good. Both times that I went when I was staying at The Don the server was very friendly!

Love to get the ice cream sundaes. I thought mine was pretty hefty — I’ve had them to-go and sit-down. Always yummy and if you are in the mood for the«ice cream parlor» vibe, its perfect, with a juke-box.

One thing that St. Pete beach seems to have a ton of is ice cream shops. This one is tucked into the ground floor of the Don CeSar, in the big pink monolith’s shopping arcade. They have a wide variety of locally made ice creams, and you can get sundaes and banana splits as well. My sundae was kinda small — not that I expected anything massive for the price at the Don! Maybe I should get the sundae-in-a-sand-pail option next time. Bonus: there’s a Ms. PacMan cocktail table tucked away in the corner, and they also brew Starbucks coffee if you’re craving something other than diner-quality java.

A great place for ice cream. It is technically inside of the Don CeSar but it is accessable from the outside. It is located underneath the bridge that goes over Gulf Blvd.
