Great local place! We went in for a late breakfast and it was awesome. I tried the veggie omelet with roasted peppers instead of tomatoes and it was amazing. The place has homemade bread and the omelet was served with fresh toast. My husband had the ham and cheese on croissant, which was different than a regular croissant. We both decided to get pastries –and the chocolate croissant with sugar dusted on top was TODIEFOR… we have had others at different bakeries that were dried out but this was perfect. We also tried the pastry with ricotta inside and it was different but great! Highly recommend this place :)… Lobster tail shaped Danish with cream filling(only on the weekends– #worth it)

This is one of those rare local finds where great service and great food are perfectly paired. The baked goods here are absolutely classic and are perfect with my Lavazza cappuccino. A special shout out to several of the wonderful members of the staff… Anna, Francesca Katia and Joanna. Thank you for taking such good care of our family and for all of your early morning smiles.

Cool little Italian market, café, deli and bakery. Basically a mini version of Mazzaros. Market features lots of specialty goods from Italy and their own line of certain products like oil, vinegar, and pastas. The baked goods and prepared pizzas looked phenomenal and the house made breads were very impressive. The menu includes sandwiches salads and pizzas. All of which sound great. I certain wanna return for breakfast sandwiches and coffee or a pizza and beers. Today we split a large roasted eggplant, zucchini, and sun dried tomato. We added lettuce and prosciutto. The veggies and bread were great! Sadly there wasn’t enough prosciutto added to even notice it, and overall the sandwich as dry and not as tasty as it looked. We even had it pressed hoping to incorporate all the flavors and still it seem to missing something. I think we’ll stick to getting sandwiches from other places.

Great little Italian deli. The coffee and omelette were delicious. You can add whatever you’d like in, we had eggplant, red peppers and zucchini. They also have an assortment of olive oil, pastas, homemade soups and much much more. Definitely recommend checking it out.

I went today and got my favorite stuffed Italian bread with sausage onions and bell peppers the only thing that I did not like is that they put crushed red peppers that doesn’t happen in Italian food I don’t like it to be spicy it was a mild Italian sausage bread don’t put crushed peppers in it!

This place was a lovely find! They have a case full of gorgeous pastries, fresh breads, focaccia, and a small market of Italian goods, including a cold case of cheeses, meats, homemade soups and more. I stopped in for breakfast and a much needed GOOD cup of coffee. The latte was excellent and the open faced fried egg sandwich with avocado, tomato, basil and fresh mozzarella was divine. I may come back tomorrow! I only wish I’d stopped in here earlier in the week!

Enjoyed my latte and chocolate croissant. I thought the chocolate in the croissant was odd at first but as I kept eating it got better. Now I see from previous reviews it’s a semi sweet chocolate. Service was fast but it also wasn’t crowded. Plenty of seating inside and out. Lots of delicious looking cookies I’d like to try next time.

Found this charming place on my quest for a good cup of coffee on my way to work. La Casa del Pane its more than a place to have coffee, pastries, fresh sandwiches, etc. Its a social gathering place with repeated local customers that are known by name and preferences. Service staff its warm and engaging. Good find!

This place is really good. We got into town late last night and were a little sluggish getting out of the hotel. We wanted good coffee and breakfast food. I had the madella(?). Simple and simply delicious. The pesto sauce was out of this world! I recommend a side of it with anything you order… Anything. We were full so we took a few croissants and a lobster tail with us. We just tasted them and it was not a mistake. The cream in the lobster tail is heavenly. The chocolate in the chocolate croissant is semi sweet and the sugar on top gives it the perfect sweetness.(I’m saving the rest to pair with an after dinner coffee tonight.) The downside… We bought the croissants for breakfast tomorrow so we wouldn’t have to get out of bed… they won’t make it until morning.

Fantastic place. Delicious breakfast options. I believe lunches too(the pizzas looked great). Intimate seating at the counter, or there are also tables. Lots of fresh baked goods(breads and sweets). The«Lobster Tail»(see photo) is too die for(I believe the filling is a mix of custard and whipped cream). I am holding back one star as it did not seem refills on coffee are offered. I did not see drip coffee(may be wrong on this too), so my nearest option was an Americano. Like many coffee drinks, it starts with espresso, so I can see why no refills. But since I was eating breakfast, thought it should have been offered. Maybe not, or maybe I’m just expecting what is typical in American breakfast places. La Casa Del Pane is also a bit of a specialty foods market(see photos), so you might also find other tasty and/or unique items to take home. Bottom line: Worth the visit just for a Lobster Tail.

Came in here on Christmas Eve. Was looking for a coffee shop near Tierra Verde where I could sit and do some work on the computer. Had a couple cappuccinos that were delicious. The place has a nice coffee bar and plenty of tables. I didn’t try any of the food but there were plenty of other people around who seemed to be enjoying it.(A lot of people showed up for 3pm on Christmas Eve) Pro besides the coffee: There were 3 employees working when I arrived, all young(20s) females.(That’s a pro when you’re a young single male) Only negative: No Wi-Fi. Unilocal is showing that they have Wi-Fi, but when I asked I was told that they did not, but that they had some sort of Hot-Spot thing that works if you’re a Brighthouse customer.(Which I’m not)

The breakfast options are simple but amazing. Great place to get an espresso and start your morning. The pastries and bread look great. The breakfast is a little expensive but worth every penny. Good selection frozen pastas and prepared entrees. Sit at the bar and enjoy.

This place is a diamond near the beach and a gem for anyone craving authentic Italian pastries and other delicious goodies. The amount of available selections isn’t huge, but it is varied. The coolers contain various smoked sausages and meats plus different cheeses to start off a nice antipasto. The prepared food area has choices of olives, pickled salads and vegetables to add to your meal. Prepared pizza choices are also available, ready to be heated at home, or finished here to enjoy at the counter, the few inside tables or the shaded patio. Espresso, lattes, coffees and other drinks are also available to top off a few of the sinful pastries. Biscotti, croissants, cookies and other goodies cannot be turned down: each taste absolutely perfect. And, lastly, bread: various types of warm, fresh, crunchy, chewy, amazing breads that are examples of some of the finest I’ve had since moving to Florida over 20 years ago. If you need some fine wine, olive oil, or other ingredients to make your meal a true winner, you’ll find it here. The staff members are all super-nice, very helpful and add to each visit. This place can easily be habit-forming. Enjoy!

Service: Extremely friendly employees working here. Ask them a question and they are friendly and more than willing to help! Environment: Seating is one large community table(sits around 14 people), 3 high tops(each with a single chair), and a coffee bar(I believe there are 8 stools). As other Unilocalers have said: it feels quite similar to a European coffee shop. There are also a few shelves full of items(cups, italian treats, etc.) and some large fridges full of treats and drinks. Food: Excellent! Espressos are amazing. I came here on two separate occasions, I got the caprese salad and a pressed mozzarella/basil/tomato sandwich(aka a caprese sandwich) — and both were extremely delicious. On the second visit I came with my parents; my mom had a sandwich and my father had an antipasto salad — both of which were really good. We also took home some pastries, cookies, and a cannoli. Everything was great! Price: As someone else mentioned — the bread may be a little overpriced, $ 5 for an Italian round is a bit steep. We got a bottle of wine which is sold elsewhere for $ 8, it was marked up to $ 20 here. Same situation for most of their wines. Other than the bread and wine, most things are reasonably priced. Sandwiches are $ 6 – 8, salads are $ 10 – 12, coffee/espresso/tea are $ 2 – 4, cookies are $ 10.99/lb. So pretty much what you’d expect out of a bakery/coffee shop. You can’t use your credit card for under a $ 10 purchase. Other: Probably not great for working. There may be wifi, but I didn’t ask since I was able to connect to Brighthouse’s network. It felt a little packed midday. Parking is really tight and obnoxious, really the only downside about this place. Overall? Great experience, I’d recommend it.

Regretfully, we discovered this spot on the last day of our vacation. A great spread of breakfast pastries and quality espresso drinks! Make sure you try a sfogliatella(sp?). It’s a flaky layered pastry with a ricotta filling. It may have had a little citrus zest and nutmeg in the filling. Really fantastic. The lunch/dinner selection looked great too. My Italian wife commented that the pizzas looked exactly like the ones her nonna used to make. Come here and spend all your money so it’s still around next time I come to St Pete Beach for vacation!

«WOW» is all I can say about La Casa del Pane! My wife and I were in St. Pete Beach for 5 days(4 ½ really) and we came here on 3 of those days. Food: The bread is fresh and delicious. I had the salami, ham and provolone sandwich on all 3 occasions and it never disappointed. There is a section with packaged foods that you can purchase, and a whole freezer full of wonderful-looking pastas and sauces. Unfortunately, the room we were in did not have a stove, so we did not get to enjoy these. They also have a case full of delicious looking Italian pastries and cookies, but I’m more of a beer ‘enjoyer’ than I am a sweet eater, so I did not partake in the desserts. Drinks: On 2 of the occasions I had a Blue Moon, and water only on the third, but they have a healthy variety of beers, wine and soft drinks, all of which can be consumed in the store or taken with you. Staff: The staff is super friendly and willing to offer any advice they can on their foods, or just waste away the afternoon chit-chatting. My only regret was not having more days to enjoy the food!

What a warm, wonderful and beautiful place this is. Light just streams in adding a sparkle to the beautiful countertops and tile floors while illuminating the incredible selection of pastries and breads that are freshly made at this family-owned business. But it’s those amazing baked goods that really shine brightly. There are muffins and croissants for breakfast, Cookies and cannoli for a sweet treat. And various loaves or rounds of bread that will make you swear off store bought breads forever. This combination retail store, eat-in or take out place can get busy, especially around breakfast and lunch times. It is that good and the decisions that must be made are that difficult. It isn’t easy to decide between a made-to-order pressed sandwich, a cinnamon bun or cherry danish or whether multi-grain bread or a pizza will be your take-home item of choice. There are plenty of imported wines, olive oils, pastas and other items in stock here to round out your repast. And, true to the Italian roots of the owners, most of what is featured on the shelves has been shipped from Italy. There are also espressos, lattes and cappuccinos to enjoy plus chilled sodas and waters in a case. Sit, sip and relish the familial feel and authentic Italian quality that makes every bite of pastry or bread created here an absolute delight.
