Prime spot on the beach with great views of the sunset. Definitely bar food but serves the location well which is part of the Sirata Resort. Ate here twice and overall the food is good and the service is great! The food, in general, tends to run on the spicy side for items that have heat. The Buffalo Shrimp wrap had a good little kick to it and the chili was the same — almost too hot for my taste so they need to take into consideration that some people need a cumulative heat warning
Overall, a great beach spot!

Friendly service is always a must on my list. Great view of the beach. Two pools and a hot tub. The food on the menu is much better than standard bar food and they poor drinks well. Good place to hangout if you can make it over. Heck. I will even buy you a drink!

Harry’s is a pretty cool spot to relax with some drinks and grub. Situated at the Sirata Beach Resort, the bar is a tiki bar and the outdoor patio has a nice view of the beach. The drinks are pretty great from what I remember and the food menu is decent. I have tried a few menu items from here and have been satisfied despite it being a bit pricy. The service has also been pretty good but on a most recent visit our server didn’t start out strong but made up for it in the end. There is live entertainment on the weekends that is worth checking out. Harry’s has a great atmosphere and vibe to listen to some live music. There are fire pits in the evening when the temperature drops and there are two pools in the vicinity and the ocean if you want to cool down. I also have made use of the hammocks and that has been relaxing. Check out Harry’s if and when you are in the area and looking for a unique yet not so rustic beach bar.

Staying at the Sirata Beach Resort, so decided to try the bar on the property first. After I sat down at a table, for the next 10 minutes the waiter working the section walked by me multiple times and just didn’t stop. So I asked a guy busing tables what the deal was and he said he’d get a waiter. As I watched him deliver the message, the waiter working this section didn’t come over, but the gal working the uncovered patio area did. She was very nice and respond quickly and has been very on top of things. I have no idea what issues the waiter had. His loss… lol! Going to have dinner here, so I’ll see if the # of stars goes up… or down. After an awesome dinner and a very enjoyable after time, I’ve increased them to 5-stars and I’m back for lunch!

Prices are definitely on the high side. Server wasn’t friendly. We just had a couple of beers and are moving on.

Spent a Saturday afternoon here, and the pools and deck were crowded, but our server, Travis was awesome! He was attentive to our needs, and had great suggestions for our lunch. Drinks were delivered promptly. Travis is a local, and very friendly. He was an encyclopedia of local places, and tipped is on where to find sand dollars that was spot on. It was hot, but it’s a beach, and there are two pools to cool off in right next to the bar and patio. Live music was great also. We had burgers and sandwiches and fries, and the good was great. If you go, wear a swimsuit and enjoy the refreshing pools! Didn’t deal with bartenders, but rum runners were excellent, and so was our server, Travis!

This location is beautiful. It is situated right on the water, with a nice breeze and a great view. I had the spinach salad, which was very refreshing on a hot summer day. The server was very attentive, and the prices were moderate. I would definitely be back, if just for the location alone. It is very chill and welcoming. I would recommend this place for anybody in large groups, or for an intimate gathering.

I have two complaints about Harry’s; the drink prices, and sometimes the service. If you’re a drinker, bring your credit card because cash won’t last long. The service is hit or miss but about 30% of the time it’s very slow, particularly on weekends or later into the evening. So let’s get the bad out of the way first. I’m just taking a wild guess here, but most people that go to a beach bar are probably going to have some adult beverages. I posted a picture of the beer portion of the menu. As an example, 16oz domestics are $ 5.15, imports are $ 5.84. A 12 pack of Corona from Publix a few blocks away is typically around $ 12, so Harry’s hits you with a 584% markup. Most beach bars have Coronas for $ 3 or $ 3.50 max during normal times and even cheaper during happy hour. Liquor drinks are similar; you’re getting up into the $ 7+ range on those, and they’re not particularly strong. I guess they feel they have a captive audience in hotel guests so lets jack the prices up to a painful point, at the expense of locals who would probably enjoy hanging out there and having a few drinks. Likely due to the pricing, not a lot of locals hang out at Harry’s, so if you want to meet local people and chat, it’s not the place. It’s also not what I’d call a party place, so if you’re younger and are looking for people more your age, see the bottom of my review. Anyway, the nice aspects of Harry’s as compared to other beach bars/restaurants on St Pete Beach are: 1) LOTS of seating with a view of the Gulf. They have a very large outside patio area steps from the sand and it offers a great view of both the Gulf and the surrounding swimming pools, of which there are three. It is a great bar for sunsets. 2) Parents will like it because the pool geared more towards kids is adjacent to the outside seating, so you can order food while your kids play in the water. It’s also stroller friendly on the patio and in the covered bar area because there’s plenty of room to maneuver around the tables. 3) I’m not sure of the schedule, but most days there is live music until 8p, possibly later on weekend evenings. This is the best beach bar option if you want live music AND a good beach & sunset view. 4) There’s a large fire pit with seating for eight or more. 5) It’s of course attached to a very nice hotel, Sirata, so hard to beat the convenience if you’re staying on site. That’s about it, could be better could be worse. If there are specific things you’re looking for in a beach bar, here are my recommendations, some within walking distance depending on how far you’re comfortable walking: Live music venue, great view, strong and reasonably priced drinks, younger crowd — Jimmy B’s Sometimes live music, much younger crowd, strong drinks, packed on weekends — PCI Bar Cheap and strong drinks, beach volleyball, cornhole, bad food options, no live music, young crowd on weekends but mostly dead on week days — Undertow Great burgers, reasonable drinks, the best beach/sunset view, lots of locals, no music — Sandbar Bills Best elevated view(12 story roof top) for sunsets, great and expansive menu, mildly high drink prices — Spinners at Grand Plaza Feet in the actual sand eating/drinking, great sunsets, good drinks — Bongos at Grand Plaza

This is a really nice place right on the beach hidden behind the Sirata. The bar itself is a hut bar, very tiny. The bartender was attentive but a little too serious for my liking. Lighten up, guy. Only had beer so I can’t comment on the mixed drinks or pours. The patio is pretty amazing, however. Nice cushy seating, great view of the Gulf, but when I went there in June, they had a fire pit going. A fire pit in June. I could see if they were making s’mores, but there were no s’mores around. Turn the fire pit off til October, guys. I was sweating like Donald Trump in a Mexican prison. But this is a great place. This was the only time I’ve been here, and it was a Sunday night and pretty dead. From what I’m told, on the weekends, be prepared to wait for your drinks.

Had the perfect hamburger here-very juicy, on a perfectly toasted cibatta bun, with onions and lettuce-yummy. One of the cheese options is blue cheese, which gives Harry’s an extra star in my book. Very friendly service, laid back atmosphere, excellent live music… Perfect beach bar experience!

Stopped in for lunch on a beautiful day. Waiter, Kenny was helpful with questions on menu. Rum runner and beer to add to our portabello panini and Mediterranean sandwich. Good sized portabello and terrific pesto. The Mediterranean sandwich was loaded with so much meat, yet nicely presented. The kettle chips that come with the lunch is a nice addition. A quick walk back to the beach. Worth a visit.

OMG the ribs. That’s all I have to say about this place. It’s the bar that’s attached to a beach resort and it was so convenient to go in and grab something quick or to just hang out and enjoy the view of the beach. But the ribs were so darn good, I went back for them two times.

Great beach bar. Offers fantastic food. Rum Runners is the drink of choice for most patrons. The wings are to die for. Seating is comfortable and oversized. Firepit and two pools add to the atmosphere. Bag game available on site. Hammocks also there.

A pretty decent place right on the beach. The outdoor bar area has friendly bartenders who are quick to serve patrons. The hot tub and outdoor fire pit are also a great feature that most of the bars in this area don’t have. A great place to spend a relaxing evening if you are staying at the beach in this area.

Good times, good times… There was not a bad time to be had the evenings we camped out at Harry’s. Bartenders were friendly and fast, drinks were strong and fruity and the entertainment they had on the weekend were a real crowd pleaser — lots of classics and sing along songs. We had a HUGE rowdy group and gave our servers a hard time, running them around for drinks like crazy but they were good sports. This place is a great place to go with a group and whoop it up — recommended!

Great rum runners! I tell you, they are strong but delicious. My friends ordered a couple of flatbreads to share and they were very fresh. The service was quick and it was right on the beach. I really have no complaints about Harry’s!
