Fast, friendly stuff. Pizza was very good too! Ingredients seem to be of higher quality compared with other similar-style pizza places.

It’s okay pizza. Good deal price wise, but the pizza is nothing special. Burnt in the bottom, yet somehow doughy on the top— not sure how that was even possible on a crust so thin??? Honestly, I prefer jack’s frozen pizza to this.

Shortly after writing my review, I received a private email from one of their customer service people who thanked me for sharing my experience. Their message is below: Jennifer, I want to thank you for your review and letting us know about your experience at our Highland Park location. I will be speaking to our store manager and our Director of Operation to address these issues. We will be sure to address all of these issues and get them fixed to ensure you and our other guests don’t have this same experience. We would like the opportunity to earn back your business in hopes you will give us another try. Please send me your address and I will get a free pizza coupon right out to you. Thank you again for letting us know about your visit. Although we will never be perfect we will strive to get there and we are able to get closer to our goal by our customers letting us know about their experiences. Thank you, Last week, I received a coupon for a free pizza in the mail. I do hope the issues I presented will be addressed, and especially in order that a *Fresh* salad is served to patrons when they pay a premium to receive one. I’ll follow-up here at a later date.

Our pizza experience here has been great! Two visits in one week! LOL Friendly staff, quick line and tasty pizza. I love the crispy crust and the really good cheese(you can have extra if you ask); they have been cooked to perfection each time. $ 7.95 for unlimited toppings is a fairly good deal, but not so much for someone only getting one topping. Pieology has a wide variety of toppings; I’m happy they have two kinds of olives and artichoke hearts. The meats are ok, but I’d like more if they were a little higher end. A fund concept and we will be back!

Good stuff! I missed having Pieology since moving here from the west coast but I’m very happy it’s here now! Great pizza!

Like most reviews on here, the choices for unlimited toppings is definitely the best part, especially because I’m a vegetarian and in college. I can DIY the shit out of my pizza and not only satisfy my pizza craving but also leave without making a dent in my wallet. Also, thin crust pizza ftw. Will definitely go back.

Pretty good but very gimmicky. Only went there once and that’s because I got something free for ordering a pizza otherwise I’m probably not going back.

Very delicious. You can personalize it to satisfy exactly what you want. Employees are very nice. The portions are awesome sizes, you can get as much food as you want on the pizza for a VERY good price

The pizzas here are delicious. The fresh dough is pressed as you order. It is placed on an open pizza oven to cook and they bring it to your table. The crust is thin and crispy. Unlimited toppings for $ 7.95. You can use their house pizza concoctions or alter them to your liking or create something in your head. The ingredients looked fresh except for some meat items looked prepared and the meatballs looked frozen. I would definitely go back and try more different pizzas. They have Coke products to include Gold Peak ice teas.

I wish I could give it. –1. Waited for about 20 minutes and they«lost» my pizza and the person in front of mines. They also burnt another persons and had to refund her order. Were not prepared at all for the amount of people that were coming in.

I was excited to be in line with my date to build what I would consider as a fantastic pie. Between myself and my date, pieology some how lost my date’s pizza in the oven. No joke! Imagine standing in line at subway and they lose your sub at the end of the line. I noticed the people in front of me never did get their orders completed either. In all, these guys will find a way to lose pizzas in their massive oven. I rather go to pizza luce or Broadway pizza after this pizza experience

This is really good pizza for the price. You can order a pizza off the menu or build your own with as many toppings as you’d like for under $ 10. The crust isn’t anything special, but there’s a good variety of toppings and the vegetables are fresh and tasty. The staff has always been friendly but sometimes seem… confused? When I went last night my friend was given someone else’s pizza by mistake, and when her pie came out of the oven there was some confusion about how to cut it. Overall, I’ve had good experiences here and I’ll definitely be back.

Unlimited toppings for under $ 9. Let me repeat myself, unlimited toppings for under $ 9!!! As someone who does not eat meat let me explain how much of a steal Pieology is. When you go to a restaurant and your options are build your own pizza with toppings being $ 1-$ 2 a piece or ordering a pizza that’s a «speciality» that’s loaded with meat, the vegetarians get stuck with a 1 – 2 topping pizza that is the same price as the 5+ topping meat pizza. Not here. The pizza is pretty amazing for the price and I have never had a poor experience here. With ample choices of sauces and toppings you can guarantee you will be able to concoct a pizza you will love!

This is a great place to grab a quick bite if you’re in the mood for pizza but don’t want to go to places like Papa Johns or Pizza Hut. You can be as inventive or boring as you want with your pizza, since you’re in the driver seat. It is kind of like a Chipotle or Subway in the sense that you get in line, choose your crust then go down the line and pick the toppings you want! Pizza comes out super quick and hot, and delicious! And hey, if you don’t like your pizza that’s all on you for choosing some crazy combinations! All ingredients looked fresh when I went down the line, and pizzas are really affordable and you can make two meals out of it!

Immediately after I wrote this, I was sent threats by an employees family member. Apparently they do not know how Unilocal works. Pieology did step in after I posted the messages I was receiving. I honestly believe they never would have if I did not post the messages as a pic. It was honestly just a huge cluster, and not worth my time. They were going to send a couple free pizza coupons for all the drama I had to endure, but those never showed up. There are so many good pizza places in the cities, I don’t think we will bother with this place again.

This is a great place to stop by and grab lunch if you’re anywhere around the Highland Park area. The staff members were extremely friendly and helpful. I stopped by here during my lunch break and got a 11.5 inch pizza with unlimited toppings, all for $ 7.95! What a great price, considering how other pizza parlors cost the same amount for just 1 to 2 topping pizzas. The pizza is customized however you like. They have a large variety of topping and sauce choices with everything I would ever want on a pizza available. Not to mention, if you like a certain topping a lot, the staff is more than willing to accommodate. I asked the worker if he could pile up on the mushrooms(yum) and he definitely did! They cook it fresh and it only takes 5 minutes and you’re off your way with a pizza that can feed up to 2 people, depending on how hungry you are. The restaurant itself is also very well-designed. The inside is kept clean with tons of tables and they also have a huge patio seating area with umbrella tables, great to enjoy beautiful weather. The only thing I noticed was after being cooked, the crust on my pizza was very, very extremely thin. If you’re not a huge fan of crust anyway, this should be fine. Also, I’d love to see them have a greater variety of crust types! They currently only have house-made, whole wheat, and gluten-free but other pizza places I’ve been to that are similar to this type of resturant have 4+ different crust types which keeps things interesting! Overall, this was more of a 4.5 than a 4 for me. I hope to stop by again in the near future!

If Chipotle made pizza, this is what it would look like. I really like this place, the pizza is good, I like that you get to choose what you want to put on the pizza, you get to see it made and cooked in the oven. Definitely worth trying, plus you can’t beat the price. To be a little picky…: It’s not as good pizza as Punch, I’m a huuuuuuuge Punch pizza fan, but it is very good pizza. It’s also not a hand tossed pizza base, they press the dough which I don’t think makes for such a fresh taste but it’s still very good. I would say a solid 7.5÷10. Better than all the crap that Pappa John and Domino’s spits out. Way better than that rubbish.

Pieology is a lovely concept in Pizza making and really the value that you get for the price you pay is great. This is a novelty pizza shop and if you are used to McDonalds or Papa John’s this place may be a bit disappointing for you. The process can be slow and may take its time but the results are tremendous and very appetizing. My favorite Pieology recipe includes ricotta cheese, a burst of pesto, chicken and artichokes.(among other ingredients). I found the staff to be very patient and helpful as it was my first time. Plus a clean bathroom and plenty of parking at the back made things quite pleasant. Definitely worth a visit.
