Victoria’s Secret

This particular VS store carries everything I could possibly want or need. From lotions to body sprays, lingerie and workout clothing, even cosmetic items! I have always been a fan of their lotions because they have such wonderful smells that last for a very long time. I have a bottle of VS lotion at work and whenever someone follows my work, they know it’s mine from the scent. So, maybe a little too obsessed or… Maybe I just like smelling nice.
I love coming here because they have a larger variety of everything. I don’t like when I go somewhere, find my size and they are only available in 2 colors. If I find something I love, I usually will buy more than 2. An example is the Incredible, Knockout and The Player sports bras. This store has good color options for my size. I came in during the holidays to try on The Player because I was needing some medium support sports bras and found that I loved it. I went to the drawers to see my color options and was pleasantly surprised at how well-​stocked the drawers were!
The staff have always been friendly. I’ve always been asked if I needed help and have always received assistance whenever I needed to try on something. The adjoining PINK store though is a bit of a different story but I rarely ever venture that way.

I’m not going to lie. This place intimidates the hell out of me. I don’t want to sound like I’m hating on myself, but I’ve never been one of those polished, put-​together women. I tend to feel out of place as soon as I step inside one of these stores. They’re just so. .. girly.
However, I happened to get a birthday coupon in the mail for $ 10 off of a minimum $ 10 purchase. Some people might look at that coupon and think, «Ooh! Discount!» I look at coupons like that as opportunities to get free stuff. My goal with this one was to spend as close to $ 10 as possible.
That’s pretty hard to do at Victoria’s Secret. It’s not a cheap place. I also had to abide by the stipulations on my coupon, which excluded anything on clearance (prices ending in $.99). But we’ll get to my final cost in a moment.
My coupon was valid for a few weeks, so I ended up visiting a total of three VS locations before ultimately coming back to this one. Why this one?
First, this VS is adjacent and connected to Pink. At some malls, the stores are physically separated. That’s not a huge deal, but if you don’t know exactly what you want, it’s nice to be able to walk between the two stores.
Second, this VS/​Pink has better merchandising than other locations I’ve visited. I’m pretty sure they have the same stuff everyone else has, but it’s displayed very nicely.
I must have spent a half hour walking between VS and Pink before ultimately deciding upon something to purchase. At least three salespeople offered to help me. «No, no. I’m just looking!» I really was starting to feel ridiculous.
I ended up buying two containers of $ 18 coconut milk body butter that were on sale for $ 8 each. I almost bought the lotion version of this scent because I had been unable to locate the body butter. However, without even knowing that I had been looking for the body butter, an incredibly nice salesperson actually recommended it to me over the lotion and helped me find it. So, I ended up leaving with exactly what I wanted. Hurrah!
When I checked out, I was asked who had assisted me with my purchase. I really should have said everyone. If I had stayed much longer, we would have needed to have begun negotiating a sublease agreement. However, it was Brittany who had helped me locate my body butter. My total for my purchase was $ 6.58, and they even put it in a Victoria’s Secret «gift bag» with tissue paper. Although I was hoping to spend right at $ 10, I sort of feel like they took a loss here. Oh, well. Happy birthday to me, right?

Worst service of any Victoria’s Secret I have ever been in this is consistently a problem trying to check out .they never have enough clerksand they never check to see who has been waiting in line longest .will never shop at the store again

Just keeps getting better! VS has always had the best fit and quality, I’m my opinion, but now they’re better staffed and have much bigger variety of clothing, too. I had help from Amy tonight, and couldn’t have been more pleased. She helped me go with a different size for my sports bra than my regular bra and I’m afraid I never want to take it off! I love when stores have an educated staff. There’s nothing uncomfortable about lingerie shopping at this store.
