WORST customer service I have ever received. Whoever the guy was in the Cardinals shirt with a balding spot on his head working on November 17 at 5:30PM seriously needs to learn the rules of professionalism and customer service skills. He was on a personal phone call THEENTIRE time that I was in there looking for an item. He was cold, rude, and very unwelcoming. I hope he’s not the manager of the place because that would be really disappointing.

It’s Army surplus and outdoor gear. Pretty straightforward. The shop is a bit disorganized but the staff can find anything immediately. A great selection of tents, from single person to large family styles, the best product for the price I have found anywhere. There is a large supply of t-shirts, camo, and hats. We picked up water bottles, glow sticks, and a couple of pocket knives. American owed and operated. Good people there and they’ve been in the community for a long while. Always fun to poke around and buy a lot of things I dont really need but really want.

Since an AAFES store can be a bit far for me(the closest is Scott Air Force Base), this is the closest alternative for a military supply store that I have found. The moment you walk in, it smells like an army supply office. This instantly reminds me of home, ala army, but for some, the smell may be a put off. Its very hard to describe: its an old rubber smell, perhaps from different wet weather gear. The staff does tend to be very helpful when you are looking and the prices are pretty affordable. Very recommended!

Need anything in camo print? Need a huge assortment of cheap knives from butterfly to pocket? What about a tent, or a travel camping grill, or even some really bizarre novel item like a huge bags of bandanas or the thickest sleeping bag you have ever seen. Yea, all this stuff can found here. I always come here when I need any kind out of outdoor gear. I don’t camp often, but every once in a while, you need hiking boots and guess what, this place will have them. Nothing here will appear to be too pretty, but it will be cheap. If you don’t care much about vanity, this is a great place to pick up some staple outdoor gear. A lot of this stuff is army surplus, which is why there is so much camo. However, you can get any array of army, navy, airforce, etc. t shirts or hats if you are in the market. You could easily piece together a decent Halloween costume on the cheap as well, as long as you want to do something militant themed… or woodsman themed I suppose would work as well.
