A great toys r us store! It’s HUGE and has everything! While I did like the chesterfield one it still was lacking products and size. This one on the other hand is much bigger and has more stuff! Highly recommend this location!

Apparently the manager thought it was better to change company policies on his own so i won’t be back. I had several items in my cat that I had process pulled up cheaper elsewhere. The manager told cashier that they were only matching print ads not online ads, well that’s not what policy is so I’ll go spend my money at target, or walmart

I went to Toys R Us(sunset hills) to shop for my adopt-a-family for the holidays and this store was chaos. The staff is poorly trained and they were very disorganized. They informed me that Toys R Us has created a new policy for tax exempt transactions, however only 2 staff members were aware of it. Instead of them retaining my tax exempt letter, I had to complete a form, but wait… they didn’t have any forms. I was told that I had to wait for a manager to go in the back and print the forms. Twelve minutes later I informed the floor manager that I was beyond irritated at the poor customer service and the inconvenience, as I had not been brought a form. Long story short I would have gladly paid the extra $ 5 down the street at Target to avoid the headache. Buyers be warned.

The shelf tag not matching the price at the register is really becoming annoying. Also, when I walked in the cashier was on his cell phone and didn’t look up from it once. Lots of toy selection, but like others have sId it’s very unorganized and hard to find exactly what your looking for unless you walk the whole store.

This Toys R Us in Sunset Hills is far superior to any others that I’ve been to(I’m talking about YOU, Chesterfield!!! *shakes her fist*). It’s exactly what it’s supposed to be — rows & rows of toys, stuffed animals, power wheels, Legoes, matchbox cars, whatever. It’s pretty clean, well stocked, relatively well staffed. MOSTIMPORTANTLY, it has a great little area where kids can play with two different large train sets. The downside is that it’s always a scene trying to pry my kid away from said train sets. There’s a decent selection of baby stuff — food, diapers, clothes, etc, so I find it to be a good alternative when I can’t make it to Babies R Us. Not much else to say other than if you’re going to go to any of these stores vs. just shopping for toys on line, this is the one.

I fondly remember absolutely loving this place as a kid, but as an adult… the place gives me the shakes… too many screaming terrible children, too many toys(never thought I’d ever say that) and too darn expensive. The staff always seem on the edge, but I’m not saying that as a complaint or a judgment, because I certainly get why… My son loves the place every bit as much as I did when I was his age, so I’ll endure for him! One jewel I have for them… make sure the prices are clearly marked and the price matches what you are selling… the register ringing a price different from what I saw marked has happened on essentially every visit I’ve made to this location, pretty annoying!

Decent store with a good amount of toys but they always seems to sell out of their popular toys too quick. My advice, order large stocks. dp

I shopped on the 2nd of January, this store looked like it had been pilfered after a riot. However, the staff was still friendly, helpful and professional. I’m giving a 3 star rating to be fair, after all I’m shopping a toy store after the biggest toy holiday. Earlier I had found the perfect gift for the little princess next door at another store and when I went back to purchase it, they were sold out. I was left scrambling for a replacement gift. Originally I had found a huge collection of Barbie clothes at Costco, so I hoped Toys R Us would have something similar — no such luck. They were totally sold out of clothes. What I did find was a Poop-n-Scoop Barbie, that is the actual name.(Barbie come with a dog that eats treats, poops, and Barbie has a scooper) I laughed so hard, I had to buy it. The little princess loves our dogs so I thought this would be a good gift. To our surprise, when she opened the Barbie, she screamed with glee it was the one she wanted and Santa did not bring. It’s amazing how things turn out. I still found a perfect gift at a store that already was picked over.

The beautiful wife and I stopped by Toys R Us to get gifts for the nieces. I remember Toys R Us being a lot more… happy? There’s something quasi-warehouse about Toys R Us in the sense of stuff per square foot. It’s just sort of weird feeling like you’re in a Home Depot or Lowe’s, rather than what is supposed to be a toy store. That said, we found some fun gifts(yes, even some things that are educational, but seriously, it’s effing Christmas. I’m not going to some«smart edutoy» place. We’re buying a lot of pink plastic). I learned some things today: Easy Bake ovens still exist. And despite getting close to 40, there’s just something that will make me stop and check out the latest Star Wars action figures(what? Han Solo in the Echo Base outfit? Sweet!)
