This place is hit or miss depending on the technician you receive. The 20 $ Pedicures can last between 20 minutes(with poor service and botched nail polish) or an hour,(with a great 15 minutes of massage)– I have received both. Request that they use clean tools, because I have seen some employees go straight from one client to another without cleaning the instruments for pedicures. I wish I could list the names of the detailed technicians but I am still figuring that out. There was one man who gave me a horrible pedicure(he had two arm sleeves of tattoos, avoid him if possible) but for the most part, the pedicures are average to above average, and surprisingly, the sub-par ones have been when the salon was nearly empty, not during peak times.

I’ve been going to Tina at this location of the local chain until recently. She is the only person that does a decent job with pink & white acrylics in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, she is rude, she is rough, she doesn’t properly sanitize the tabletop of the work area when doing nails and she doesn’t keep the appointments she makes. In addition, her English is terrible and she will be happy to blame you when communication breaks down. They’ve also started charging service fees for credit card purchases. Unfortunately, no one else at this location does a decent job. The two guys will hack your feet up in a pedicure and the other lady doesn’t understand a word you say. I’ve given up.

One of the worst nail salons I have ever been to. I should have just left after I walked in but decided to stay and see how it went since it was so cheap($ 30 for mani/pedi). Bad idea! First off, I’m pretty sure that their tools were not sanitary. The woman doing my pedicure physically hurt me, while she was massaging my feet/legs. Then, when we sat down to the manicure, she didn’t even put down a paper towel or anything. I had two friends with me, and they both had equally bad experiences. One of my friend’s technicians cut her skin, during the manicure, blaming my friend for bad skin. Then another one of my friend’s nails were done so badly that she went back in for them to do again. All of our manicures started coming off the next day. Needless to say, it was one of the worst manicure/pedicure experiences ever, and I’m never going back. I can’t wait to find a decent salon in St. Louis.
