Love this place as we visit about once a week. We call it our Cheers because everybody knows our name. Came in last night and ordered the pretzels as usual and not happy with the change. The old pretzels were crisper on outside and soft on inside and perfect. The new ones were ok but too much outer crust and thinner. Still love the place but being back the old pretzels!!!

Use the Unilocal check in offer to get 50% off an appetizer! I got the fried pickles and they were soooo salty haha which may be a good or bad thing depending on your disposition. I would venture they were saltier and greasier than normal(at least from what I’ve sampled in Tennessee). Service was good and so was the beer

One of my favorite restaurants on the Loop. Service is always friendly and there are plenty of TVs to watch the Cards or the Blues. The fries seal the deal.

Mr. Fearless and I ate at Three Kings Public House a couple of weeks ago, in early December. He’s been here a couple of times, but this was my first visit. The pub has a nice, relaxed atmosphere. We came for lunch on a weekend, and even though there were several other parties seated around us, it wasn’t overly loud and service was very good. We had a great server. Four Steps to Having a Great Time at Three Kings Public House 1. Be seated. Be awed by the fact that they leave a bottle of chilled water on the table. Feel fancy, or not. 2. Order drinks. They have a lot of beers on tap that Mr. Fearless loves, but I don’t know anything about that. I ordered the Strawberry Mash(Smash?), which may have been a special but was so fantastic. Strawberry-infused Bulleit bourbon with a mint. Enjoy. Revel in it’s deliciousness. Remind yourself to look up how to infuse bourbon on Pinterest. Be so in awe about your drinks that you barely pay attention to the specials you’re server explains. 2. Get the buffalo chicken toasted ravioli. I don’t know what it is about STL, but this town loves it some buffalo chicken. The raviolis here are definitely one of my favorite spins on buffalo chicken I’ve had. 3. Also get the the pub chips. Ask your server to explain the sauces you can order with it. Get the beer cheese(don’t remember what it was). Also, dip your chips in the Sriracha ranch that comes with the buffalo chicken ravioli. 4. Split a Muffuletta. We split a half one, and both of us took part of it home. We easily could’ve split a single order(especially since we’d devoured both of those apps). Be sure to order it hot(recommended by the water). This was my first try with a Muffuletta, but Mr. Fearless just said«OMG, that was so [expletive] good» when I told him I was finally reviewing this pace. Our server, Zach, did not lead us astray.

Fantastic! We stopped in here before a show at the pageant and it was delicious and have gone back a few times since. I Illoooovvvveee their burger and it is always perfectly done. The service is great. They are attentive but they didn’t bother us. They have a large selection of alcoholic beverages to choose from.

Get The Muffaletta — Hot! It’s the best Muiffaletta you’re going to get in Saint Louis. They get the bread and olive salad right, and the meats and cheeses are excellent. One of the very few places where I’ll order the same thing every time I go — so I haven’t tried too much else. The Cajun pasta was tasty, indeed. I like the booths across from the bar. You can sit right next to your girl or guy there…

Wonderfully accommodating staff! My family threw my bridal shower here(they liked the bar and the easy way they could convert the back room to look like Harry Potter). The appetizers were delicious! We couldn’t get enough of the spinach artichoke potato skins, or the basil mozzarella flatbread. But what truly won us over was the service. April worked with my family to organize the event and Jay went above and beyond serving us. Wether he was bringing us beers and drinks, entertaining the little ones, or carrying gifts out to the car– he did everything with a smile and a great attitude. I couldn’t have asked for a better shower!

Solid bar food and I LOVE the waffle sweet potato fries. They always have an outstanding, rotating list of draft beers with lots of variety. Staff is great and very familiar with menu and beers. Highly recommend for a casual evening. Also love all the TVs for football games.

Ok so I’m going for the full five and here’s why. I don’t drink or hang out at gastro-pubs but have been hearing their food is delicious. After a day and night of singing, King Doc surprised me when he said he made 9pm reservations to this place and here I was thinking Date Night was cancelled because of my schedule. Yes I love that man. Any who despite the confused new girls at the hostess stand we were seated right away. Our server promptly appeared with water. King Doc ordered the Artichoke and Spinach potato skins and I the lobster bisque. Let’s just say the skins looked pretty scrumptious but I didn’t get any cause he ate all 4. The lobster bisque was just OK. For my entrée I ordered the stuffed poblano pepper and glad I did… Y’all(in my Paula Dean voice) that right there was delicious. I really appreciated the salsa being placed on leaf lettuce and saving my plate from the juice, the guacamole had a unique Smokey flavor that was had me missing eating meat… That’s another story*** King Doc tried a Match Bean Burger for the first time… I am really an Influencer even though LinkedIn don’t think so… HELIKEDIT! Finally let’s discuss the sweet potato waffle fries. although I only had two. Man oh man they were crispy good. I am a satisfied customer. Oh and back to me not indulging in the mind altering drinks, I didn’t feel overwhelmed by the atmosphere. It was a fair share of old and young people. No one was screaming at the bar or the TVs. I will return

I went for team lunch today. I had Mushroom melt on sour dough bread toast and added grilled chicken as add on to my sandwich along with some cajun sweet potato fries. I liked the sandwich but the chicken was not properly cooked. I could have called for service but as the order took too long I dint want to change it. My friends ordered some sliders and they look great. they say they tasted great too. I liked the way they seasoned the sweet potato waffle fries with the Cajun seasoning.

Three Kings would get 4 stars for their food and drink selection. Their sangria is great, they have a nice beer selection, and their French dip is awesome. But their service… I get that they’re busy sometimes. But both times I’ve dined in, our server just disappeared, once for almost 30 minutes. We had to ask another server to grab us boxes and our check. When we put in a to-go order and went to pick it up, the bartender at the front bar literally saw us and walked away into the kitchen, where he began casually talking to someone else. We had to wait on the side until someone else came out and asked us if we needed help. And it wasn’t a busy time – it was pretty empty, and he wasn’t even doing anything or helping anyone. It’s a good place for food and drinks, and it’s close to my house. I’ll be back, inevitably. Here’s to hoping they’ll prove me wrong next time!

½ price apps when u check in on Unilocal, happy hour specials, lots of beer on tap, tvs, decent tuna sliders/burgers, and always a $ 2 drink special of the day– I mean what else could u ask for? Just an FYI– this place does get really crowded on the weekends and on game nights. They also have a private room in the back of you needed to host an event for up to 40 people, etc.

Great place. Good food and a wonderful place to grab a drink. Went there on a Friday night in September though and boy did I feel old. I was surrounded by college children… They looked like high schools kids, so either I am just out of touch or id technology is getting better an better. But I do love this spot. It’s a good place to go.

Draft beer. Baseball. Burgers! Man this place has it all. We stopped here and placed an order to go and also grabbed a few drinks. Decent prices for draft beer and a decent selection. Not pages and pages, but a selection of pale, amber, darker ales etc to satisfy most beer palettes I think. The bartender who took our order was friendly and offered suggestions. They also offer wine and liquor. We sat at the bar, and got take in the last two innings of a baseball game while the food was cooking. The TVs aren’t huge but definitely you can see what’s going on. I ordered a flamethrower burger and it was delicious. I mean, seasoned perfectly, cooked perfectly, fresh veg, and a delicious spicy sauce on top, did I forget the fried jalapeños? How could I? This was my kind of burger. I want to hug whoever made it. We also ordered fried pickles, and I don’t think they spent long enough in the fryer. but as we ordered when the kitchen was closing, I understand that. The fried ravioli were delicious but to me, seemed overdone, or overfried? hmm. They were both definitely good, but not a knockout like the burger. So to recap, we had a tasty beer, Avery«The Reverend», a fantastic burger, and got to catch a baseball game. This place is great and I’d go back for sure. Kudos also for the excellent service. Me thinks its worth a stop if you’re on a Delmar stroll.

We always have a great experience here! If you are a condiment whore like us then you will love this place. They have so many great sauces to choose from! We loved the spicy chicken fried ravioli. Also highly recommend The Pogue Mahoney burger. Thanks for a great lunch!

Been on my «gotta try list» for quite a while. I’m so glad we finally stopped in! First, the service was top notch. We could barely empty a dish before someone was around to take it away. Second, the food was excellent. The chorizo nachos could have been my meal. We both got burgers and they were so juicy! Highly recommend!

I really wanted to like this place. I had heard so many great reviews basically saying it was the cats pajamas. Not to discredit my fellow Unilocalers, but I just didn’t walk out thinking«man was this the best pub food ever.» It was one of the better looking places I have been to. The décor was spot on. That’s why this review is so tricky for me. I had such high expectations. Was the food bad? No. Was the food memorable? I couldn’t tell you what kind of burger I had just that I had a burger. Was the service bad? No. Was it warm like you think a small pub like bar is supposed to be? No. It was neither good nor bad. Would I come again? Yes, but only if the boss was picking up the tab.

As we were stressfully bike shopping on a beautiful Sunday afternoon we walked down The Loop to find some sustenance. We decided on Three Kings Public House. We sat outside so I only saw the inside briefly but it seemed cool and pub like. The waitress was fairly efficient and friendly. It was pretty busy as it was one of the first nice weekends of the late winter season. My only complaint with the staff was the bus girl. She came and cleared everything that appeared that it hadn’t been used every single second. Like, whoa, calm down killa. I wasn’t anywhere near finished and The bf suddenly had zero stuff on his side of the table. The bf had an All American burger(substituted with a turkey patty) topped with cheddar, lettuce, tomato & dill pickle slices and he added on sautéed mushrooms and ordered it with fries @ $ 10.99 The bf said his was fantastic and said that the fries were very good too. I had the Pretzel Melt with provolone cheese & caramelized onions on a pretzel bread roll, and I added the mushrooms as well, and I ordered mine with fries too @ $ 11.99. Mine was fantastic. It had been a long time since I had eaten a burger and this was a good choice. Well done and juicy with lots of flavor. The pretzel bun was amazing and the toppings all complemented it well. The fries were ordinary but very good. We will most def be back at some point prolly as we wander The Loop on a nice day.

Aww, man. I was kind of disappointed with this place. The husband and I spent a day in The Loop last Saturday. To avoid the lunch crowds, we agreed we would eat well after noon. Neither of us drink, so this will be a food-only review. We arrived at Three Kings at about 2:10. There was no line, and we only had to wait about 5 minutes for a table. Water was available at the table in a tall glass bottle, along with two empty jar-style drinking glasses. The glasses were a turn-off for me. They looked like they had seen better days, and I don’t have any desire to drink out of something with threads. I needed a caffeine fix anyway, so I ordered a Diet Coke(which came in a regular glass). I love eating at bars(typically) because you often can find a wide array of food on the menu. Three Kings did not disappoint in that regard. In addition to burgers, sandwiches, soups, and salads, you’ll have a variety of appetizers from which to choose(e.g., hummus, pretzels, a take-home jar of nuts). Specials on the day we visited included poutine and a gyro. The husband ordered a plain burger with fries, and I ordered the chorizo nachos(no jalapeños) from the appetizer section. When I checked in on Unilocal,I received an unexpected surprise offer for 50% off of an appetizer. Although I had already ordered, the waiter allowed me to use the offer. That brought my nachos down to about $ 5. Score! It took about 25 minutes for our food to arrive. The waiter apologized for the wait, explaining there had been a large table ahead of us. I didn’t really mind the wait because we had been out walking around. It was nice to rest for a bit. :) Maybe the husband and I had high expectations after seeing more than 200 reviews and an average 4-star rating for Three Kings, but we thought the food was just okay. Not great, not bad. Just okay. Everything about my chorizo nachos was good, except for the chorizo. I recently had chorizo nachos at another restaurant and absolutely loved them, but I did not care for the chorizo flavor at Three Kings. The flavor actually reminded me of the beef on the Dairy Queen nachos I used to eat as a teenager in the ‘90s. It wasn’t a bad flavor, just unexpected. I ended up leaving most of the chorizo on the plate, but with my half-off offer, the nachos still were a great deal. I give Three Kings 2.5 stars. For us, it was somewhere between«meh» and«A-OK.» However, I’m rounding it up to three stars for two reasons. 1. I can’t give half stars on Unilocal. 2. It truly wasn’t an awful meal. Food and service were fine; I’m just not in a hurry to return.

This afternoon my husband and I wanted to do a snack and a drink at a new place and, although Dan had been here once before, he thought it would be a great place to try again. We arrived at Three Kings around 2:30 and the place was pretty crowded which is usually a good sign. The unique décor and atmosphere were one of the first things that I noticed and liked about this pub. Having rustic yet trendy feel, we immediately felt comfortable and relaxed in this bar which had artistic St. Louis photographic history decorating the walls. In the mood for drinks and appetizers our attention was immediately drawn to these items. They have an extensive tap and bottled beer list, a respectable wine selection, and the cocktails looked interesting. Zack, our waiter, was prompt upon taking our drink order– Dan ordered a pale ale and I stuck with the Shiraz. While we were waiting for our drinks I, of course, checked in on Unilocal and a great surprise awaited… We got 50% off one of our apps by checking in! What a nice treat! As for food I ordered the hummus and Dan got the Mediterranean flat bread. Both dishes arrived fairly quickly and visually were incredibly appealing. My hummus was not only a generous amount but the bread and vegetables that came along with it were also crispy and fresh. Dan’s flat bread was delicious with the two different cheeses(Buffalo mozzarella and feta) mixing nicely with the caramelized onions. Overall we truly enjoyed our experience, from the prompt and friendly service to the delicious food and to top it off the nice Unilocal discount was great. In addition, a Budweiser representative was there who gave Dan a free beer so he could taste the new Budweiser Signature Brew. Their happy hour specials are also a good deal so if you need a place to wind down after work stop by the Loop and check it out.
