The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

This Organization thrives on bullying people to join their church. I have a friend in the ST Louis area and they come to her door 3 – 5 time a week even though she has asked them to leave her alone. They stood outside her door for just under 30 minutes the other day. When a neighbor passed by they extensively questioned a neighbor about her.

This was my church when I was growing up, and it was a great one to go to. I have many fond memories of this place. Most important, it taught me important principles that I have striven to keep for my life. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I grew up going to this church building every Sunday for church service and often in the week for activities. Come and meet great people and feel a closer relationship with God.

Wonderful place, something for everyone, visitors are always welcome.
I have been a member of this Church all my life, it has made my life better.

I just refuse to go back in this building again after having to spend many years of my youth learning how I should be clean in thoughts and actions, chaste (a.k.a. — don’t «pet»), not get too close to boys at dances and to find a nice Mormon guy, marry him, and honor him (yes, I said honor) as the man of the house.
Well, Stephanie went off to college and you’ll never guess what happened?!?
She got wasted her first month there (and stayed drunk for 4 years), dated a drug dealer, got three tattoos, had nasty, dirty thoughts about boys, and GASP! — she even «petted» a few of them once or twice (ok, maybe even three times). The horror!!! Oh the horror!!!
I guess you could say I’ve been unofficially excommunicated from the Mormon Church.
That’s LDS lingo for —
«God ain’t gonna let you into heaven, so get on with your bad self, biatch!» (And no, that quote doesn’t come straight out of the Book of Mormon in case you were wondering).
