This place is legit. I come from a Shanghainese background and the chef here cooks in that style! I went with my parents who are both chefs themselves so you know if they like it, it means it is delicious and that the flavors are on point. We had the spicy beef with tripe, duck with special sauce, salt and pepper pork, salt and pepper shrimp, and a meatball with bok choy dish. Also had the egg rolls which are perfectly crispy. The beef with tripe was my favorite. It combines every flavor profile, sweet, sour, salty, spicy and turns it into a sauce that is totally mind blowing! So yummy. The duck also had a yummy sweet sauce. It was cooked well too. The other dishes were all wonderful, no complaints from this palate. I would definitely recommend this place! It’s very mom and pop, which I prefer anyway. That is where the legit stuff lives.

This place is amazing! We ordered a 2-way hot pot, spicy and pork broth. Also you can pick from a bunch of sides. We got 3 meats and a few vegetables. They have a heating element at every table they pot the hot pot on. You dip the meat and vegis in to cook… Delicious! They also have almost a dozen sauces in a self service station to grab. The server was nice. We also asked to table next to us for some pointers since it was our first time eating like this. Highly Recommend!

Well, It was a mistake that I entered this establishment. I was on my way to another Chinese restaurant but thought it was this place. I stepped in and dumbfounded that they don’t have an English menu. Their menu is pure Chinese. I am embarrassed and don’t know what to order. Luckily the waiter knows how to speak English. So I just told him I want a duck, pork, and a fried rice just to try it out. The taste was certainly different definitely. I know I have tasted this kind of Chinese cooking when I was in Hong Kong. It tastes awesome! This is authentic and not Americanized Chinese food. I’m not sure when they opened but the waiter told me they will have an English menu soon. The sweet and sour pork was has some complexity in taste not typical of your neighborhood Chinese takeout, same with the fried rice. I love it. I will be back and willing to try out the menu even if I don’t understand every word.
