There are probably two main reasons for stopping at this particular Subway:
1) You’re on the way to Forest Park and want to get a sandwich without going out of your way;
2) You’re transferring at the Forest Park Metrolink station and want to pick up a sandwich without going out of your way.
This location is a little older and much smaller than most of the others that come to mind in the City; it’s best suited for quick lunches with one other person or as a grab-​and-​go service. There are more exciting options in the area (read: visit The Loop, about a mile away to the west) and places better suited to groups (including The Kitchen Sink, about half of a mile to the east), but the price point and convenience are hard to beat.

Close to the train service, we came here before heading to the park for a late morning stroll. We stopped here for breakfast, which was ok. It’s subway: lunch. Everything else was either far away or closed and we didn’t know the area well since me and my bf were both from out of town. Though, no coffee available when we asked and the service was way slow for us being the only ones there. Eh ok, Subway, let’s not come back to this location again.
