Not worth the 45 minutes it takes to get your bagel sandwich. My bagel came with the wrong toppings and i ordered one directly off the menu. The bagel I ordered was supposed to come with cheddar cheese, hummus, tomatoes and cucumber. The bagel I was given came with cojack, hummus, alfalfa sprouts(which I am not supposed to have right now), tomatoes and cucumbers. It took forever to get the food and by the time i walked back to work and realized the wrong stuff was on my sandwich it was not worth it to go back and get it corrected. Save yourself the disappointment and go elsewhere.

Great steamed bagel sandwich today — turkey, cheese and avocado on a multigrain bagel. Great break at CityGarden!

The sandwich was fine(Terrapin on tomato, though their«spicy brown mustard» tasted like the yellow kind you see on hot dogs) and price was reasonable enough, but it wasn’t anything special and I could have walked the 6 or so blocks to the Einstein’s and back by the time I got my food(I ordered right away, so it wasn’t a long line; they just couldn’t get the food out). The staff was friendly and seemed to be trying, but it just seemed like they didn’t have a good system for processing customers’ orders and so I wouldn’t go back.

After crawling though nets, scaling a school bus at an obstacle course 5K in forest park, Steamroller Bagel & Deli’s little food truck at the end of the finish line was a GODSEND to my growling stomach! I ordered the steamed«Morning Fog» bagel sandwich on onion. When I unwrapped the aluminum foil, I found melty cheese, peppery pastrami, lettuce all sandwiched between a soft freshly made bagel. As my friend who took a bite out of mine commented: It looked exactly like how it would taste. And boy, did it look good! Now if only they would come near the loop or clayton…

Tried this food truck today for lunch. The bagel sandwiches are steamed and loaded with toppings so pretty filling. I tried the China Cat on an everything bagel(tomatoes, cucumbers, smoked cheese, veggie cream cheese). It was pretty good and VERY filling! One might think… $ 7 for a bagel??? WHAAAAAAAAAAt? But don’t be fooled this is a bagel monster. You will be full and might have some leftover for later. Side-note: Since the bagel is steamed it can get chewy and stick to your teeth. This does not bother me but I can see how it would bother some people.

Good food, they do steamed bagel sandwiches, and serve Billy Goat chips. Good stuff.
