SOMA Therapeutic Massage

Anyone in here in STL should definitely stop by here! After reviewing multiple massage places I was skeptical about this place at first because I was gonna opt for massage envy since it is a chain and at least I can rely on knowing its good. However I was very surprise with how well Troy was with the deep tissue massage! Normally massage places like Massage Envy starts their one hour from the time you walk into the room and leave so perhaps 10 – 15 min isn’t really for massages. However, Troy is definitely fair and sets his one hour for the full one hour massage! He is specific is asking where you want massages targeted but he also does a good job in balancing out to the rest of your body to have that balance all throughout your body! The deep tissue was really good I felt so relax and didn’t even realized I had parts of me that were sore and I didn’t even know it!

Troy gives an amazing massage. He is personable and professional. He always asks if there are any areas causing concern, but really is quite intuitive during the massage. It always seems that he knows what’s bothering you, even when you don’t. The environment is clean, peaceful, and you instantly relax once you walk through the door.

Nice, quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The table is always nice and warm. The music is soothing and never too loud. I always recommend Troy to anyone that brings up massage.

A very clean, well laid out and relaxing studio. Troy listened to what I told him and focused on the areas where I needed the most attention. This impressed me because most massage therapist rarely read the form I fill out and end up causing me pain. I have been to Troy’s studio 3 times now and each session is better than the previous. I always come out relaxed and refreshed. Outstanding service.

Troy is awesome. Very professional deep tissue massage. Place was very nice, clean, comfy and relaxing. The pain in my hips from sciatic nerve was relieved. I just took the best pain free nap I’ve had in a long time. I highly recommend!

After packing boxes for many days and completing chores to prepare for a move out of the St. Louis area, I knew I needed a massage to alleviate some of the aches and sores from all that physical work. I am so sad I did not book a massage with Troy at Soma Therapeutic Massage so much sooner — he is fantastic! His years of experience and doctorate degree in chiropractic medicine really shows in so many details. The intake form is a more detailed medical history overview than almost any other massage I have ever received. He used hot steamed towels to prepare the soles of my feet, cradle the back of my neck, and wipe off any excess lotion. I asked for a deep tissue massage and the amount of pressure and attention to my trouble areas was perfect. I could tell that he knew how each muscle and each joint would respond best, and that seriously impressed this science geek with a biology undergraduate degree. 20% off for new clients and for clients during their birthday week, but the usual price for a 90-​minute deep tissue massage is $ 100, which is fantastic pricing. Troy uses an online scheduling system, evening and weekends are also available, and he’s actually very pleasant company (just the right amount of conversation to balance the music playing in the background). I will definitely schedule something with Troy the next time I am in the area — really wonderful work. Thank you, Troy!

Best massage in town!!! Life doesn’t get much better than a really good massage — and Soma Massage is the best way to treat yourself to the good life! (OK, wining & dining need to be on the list too — but admit it: we all probably need to reducing our food & drink consumption a bit — but you can’t get too much when it comes to a great massage!
