This is my neighborhood Schnucks and it’s getting better. I have only been in the area a couple of years and I have seen some progress. The stars can move you guys. They always have most of the things i want with some exceptions to high end international or uncommon fresh produce(but I understand the demographic thing). I have seen more open check out lanes in the past 6 months than ever before. As a regular i speak to all of them including the teenagers who can be a bit distracted by their constant looking around(who are you looking for, you are at work) LOL ON a GREATNOTE: They are finally upgrading this Schnucks to the layout of the other nearby Schnucks such as Ladue and Clayton and I have seen better products including nut milks, a bigger Gluten Free Section, among others. Keep going in this direction and you are sure to receive 5 stars by the end of this year!

Not really a big fan of Schnucks but this one is so close to my home and often I popped in this branch for minutes to pick up some essentials. Fairly good mix of items. I even noticed a few(but very limited) international products and brands, possibly a symbolic gesture acknowledging the variation in the spectrum of the demographic around this area. The shop is rather well-stocked, though check-out is relatively slow, including the self-checkout. Staff at best courteous and some a bit zombie-like, replicating what they have learned in training in a robotic fashion.

Schnuck’s neglects their stores that are in minority areas, this one included. Don’t waste your time, the selection sucks and good luck getting a bagger.

Shady place. Lighting is almost non-existent in the parking lot or on the surrounding streets. Mostly black clientele(not saying that this is a bad thing). But, I will point out that this Schnucks closes at midnight, while the Schnucks a few miles to the south is open 24 hours a day… One cop was idling in the parking lot, and another was idling on the street to the south. Yeah, no.

This Schnucks store continually drags down the reputation of the other Schnucks Stores. I was there at approximately 2:00PM today. The parking lot and store was filled with customers. ONE checkout line, besides self-serve was open. I can’t believe this store is still in business. There has always been poor service here!

I don’t like shopping here at all. The food selection is weird(I once couldn’t find chicken breasts… anywhere…at all) and the staff are very hit-or-miss. I’ve had a handful of pleasant-ish experiences with the cashiers or other store employees but, for the most part, they are grumpy and unhelpful. I live extremely close to this store but I drive over to the Schnuck’s on Clayton or to Dierberg’s for my grocery shopping needs.

Not a bad Schnuck’s location but, I prefer the one off Ladue Road. This one is closer to my house and easier to stop at on my way home from working out… Besides that, I have never had a bad experience here, prices are decent, the fresh food always looks good and I always find what I’m looking for and then some. Staff is usually friendly as well.

OK… I’m not a fan of Schnucks in general… I prefer Dierbergs, Super Walmart, or Whole Foods, depending on what I’m looking for. Seriously… St. Louis needs a Kroger! Sorry, back to the topic. This particular Schnucks is always clean, most of the employees are friendly and inviting, and the deli/hot bar is always on point. I generally only hit them up when I’m low on essentials, hungry for some of their spicy glazed wings, or at the Hon’s Wok a few doors down… but they’ve always been top notch when I stop in.

Why can’t all Shcnucks carry Boars Head? Otherwise, about the same as most Schnucks. Only grocery store in the area that is decent. Staff seems friendly and are helpful. The produce did not seem fresh. Half the berries I brought home(raspberry & blackberry) were over ripe.

Don’t expect too much from this particular Schnucks. It’s not necessarily bad, but not very good either. The seafood department is embarrassing. The Customer Service desk is insanely slow. There used to be two lines, but once they got rid of the video section, it has been knocked down to one. NEVERTRYCUSTOMERSERVICEONFRIDAY! It’s not with the frustration. Richmond Heights on Clayton Road is a much better alternative, though their customer service counter is awkward as well, though jot as busy.

One of very few grocery stores in the Delmar Loop area. I’ve never had any bad experiences with the food here, the prices are reasonable, and I’ve generally been able to find what I wanted. On one of the few occasions when Schnucks didn’t have what I was looking for(pearl onions) the produce clerk suggested a substitute, and on my next visit to Schnucks, I saw that the store had added pearl onions to its inventory. The frozen salmon fillets are a great deal; they’re 20 oz. and cost $ 5.99, or something like that. The stuffed crab are also cheap and tasty. The staff to be friendly and efficient. No complaints.
