If you’re thinking about using Savvi for your wedding needs. Don’t waste your time. Let’s walk through the 3 key highlights as to why: Do you have out of town(anywhere further than 1 hour driving) groomsmen who need to get fitted for a tux? Well Savvi says they can get fitted at anyone of their satellite locations, but in actuality you can have your measurements taken at another Savvi location, but then you have to physically call in the measurements yourself. Additionally there’s no easy way to find out exactly what measurements are needed and there’s about 15 measurements Savvi requires. Well they have a website where you can submit your measurements online right? Sure they have a website that SAYS you can submit your measurements online, but since THESTOREDOESNOTHAVEANYCOMPUTERS they can’t access these measurements. The only way they can get your measurements without a phone call is by physically walking in the store. Lastly, we had a ring bearer who was also from out of town. I won’t even go into the trouble that getting his measurements were, but as expected when we arrived to pick it up they didn’t fit. So picking up the tuxedo the day before the wedding the simple question was«Ok when will they be ready by?» «They’ll be ready at 10am tomorrow when we open up.» That was a respectable enough response. So in arriving promptly at 10am to pick up the tux the next day, «Hi, I’m here to pick up the ring bearer tux.» Not shocking, it was not ready, «They just got started on the alterations.» When confronted about all of the above noted issues. An «I’m sorry» and a «I completely understand» was given, but nothing was even suggested in the way of «How can we make this right?» This place was literally the only headache in our entire wedding planning. DJ, Photographer, venue, hall, flowers, dresses, all went smooth and some how Tuxedos were the troublesome item.

BADNEWS. A friend used Savvi for their wedding recently and regretted it. The various locations could not seem to coordinate our info. The store is tiny and the quality of materials was a «D+» with some bad tailoring thrown in. For $ 200, we expected better – but remember this is a mass-market mall formalwear store, so you get what you might expect. The ONLY positive is that they are open longer hours as they are in a mall. Stallone’s Formal Wear nearby was much better quality and service the last time we needed a wedding rental. I cannot recommend Savvi. Negatives: — Quality of materials — Measurement errors(shirt too short) — Confusion between stores — Not a deal($ 200) — Galleria parking can be nuts Positives: — Mall location allows for pick-up or drop off at odd times and on Sunday.
