Physical therapists ain’t no joke! They are sweet as pie when you meet them, then go right to the torture! LOL… I’m kidding… well, kinda kidding. it’s effective, they get results, so I can’t complain too much. I had a bit of torture session but it was happily followed with electro-therapy and heat. The people I interacted with here from front desk to therapists were friendly and professional!

I had a foot injury in January. While I initially thought it was just a sprained ankle, it’s become clear that it was anything but. I was going to another physical therapy location about 2 – 3 times and after switching to RPI, the contrast has convinced me that RPI is a winner. My main reason for switching was because RPI is in my insurance network, but I believe I’m getting better care as well. My current PT, Jonathan, was very attentive when I told him what happened. What I appreciated most was, unlike the previous place, he explained what he thought happened to me with medical terminology and showed me a diagram of the muscles of the foot. It felt much more like a partnership of both of us learning what happened to me, whereas before I felt like the initial problem was not taken into consideration and the old PT was just running through foot exercises by rote. Jonathan also told me the purpose of the various treatments — the stim, ultrasound, and taping. Again, I couldn’t help but contrast this against the other place I went. Because of a bad experience with the stim at the previous PT, I was wary of the stim machine here, but the PT assistants are always obliging with adjustments and making sure I’m comfortable. My foot has definitely improved since I’ve been going and I can’t say enough about the professionalism of their team. They seem to be genuinely invested in their patients’ wellbeing and lives even outside of the office. Highly recommended!

My first experience with RPI Creve Coeur was two years ago when I fractured my ankle. Under the care of Jonty, I quickly regained my strength in my ankle and leg. Recently, when I needed therapy for bulging discs, resting on the nerve of my leg, I immediately called RPI. This time my therapist was Katie. Like Jonty, she cared about me as a person and truly listened to my concerns and my prior health issues, as she created an exercise program that I can easily continue at home. If an exercise was too difficult for me, Katie quickly modified it to fit my particular needs, strengths and weaknesses. After a setback from traveling, instead of pushing to add more exercises to my régime, Katie focused on eliminating the new pain, enabling me to quickly return to my pre-travel self. RPI Creve Coeur is conveniently located by the JCCA off Lindbergh. The therapists and assistants help one another, making it a very friendly, homey atmosphere, where everyone cares about you. The office managers are aware of different coverage by various insurance companies, as they handle the bureaucracy of the paperwork for the clients. They are friendly and patient as they help the clients with scheduling, saying hello or offering to contact a doctor’s office about a question. I would recommend RPI Creve Coeur to anyone in need of physical therapy.
