We entered the building to a nice greeting from Chuck. I enjoyed him sharing tidbits of various works. I’ll be sure to make it back. There will be an amazing find there one day, something I have to take home with me.

LOVE Rocket Century – what a wonderful addition to the South Grand family. Used to live in the neighborhood and have since moved to LA (a land ridden with awesome mid-​century furniture for sale at an insanely overpriced rate) but was so happy to stumble in here on my visit back. Was able to purchase an adorable and fairly priced 48-​piece dining set to take back with me. Couldn’t have had better and more friendly customer service, either!

While the mid-​century furniture here is cool… there really isn’t enough of it to warrant a trip… unless you heading to S. Grand anyway. We liked their stuff, but really there were only about a couple dozen or so significant furniture pieces to look at.

This place has the best selection of mid-​century furniture and home décor. If I could afford to furnish my entire house with their goodies I would! For now, I’ll keep getting some great pieces to spice up my apartment!

Great, tidy mid century place on Grand. Great owner with a wonderful knowledge of her inventory. I have bought lots of glass wear, presents and a few wonderful things for myself. Give a reasonable price and the management will work with you! Check it out on your way to lunch on Grand!

If you’re on the hunt for well-​priced, mid-​century modern furniture and/​or housewares in excellent condition, you must visit Rocket Century! On my last visit home I was thrilled to see such an excellent business occupying this space on South Grand. The owner was working when I stopped in, and she is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I walked out with a few items that didn’t break the bank and are wonderful additions to my home.
