My wife and I have dined here several times before, but today was the first time I’ve been disappointed by the food. The entrées were good, but the salad had some wilted bits of lettuce and the broccoli was brown at the ends of the stalks. And when we mentioned it to our waitress, she said she had dumped our first serving and had it replaced due to its poor appearance.

My steak had zero seasoning and our fries and fish were cooked in very old oil. Not the same place any longer. Big disappointment. Quality of food is NOT worth the price.

Let me say I am not a huge fan but my mother is so we stopped in for lunch. Waitress was amazing and so nice. They owner stopped over to make sure we were taken care of since we were in a room that had not been opened yet, but they accommodated my mother and her walker so she wouldn’t have to walk as far. The drinks were plenty. The calamari is good, it has broccoli and red peppers mixed in as well. I like the coconut shrimp if anything. Not overcooked at all. How can you not love the biscuits, ‘nough said right. Decent mid town seafood.

Expensive Alcohol, Appetizers aren’t that great at all. I ordered fried calamari, expected something much better than what we got. The calamari tasted as if they were soaked in oil. Plus they were very small, compared to other restaurants which I will mention below. The food is expensive and the portions aren’t that big as well. If I’m going to spend $ 30+ a person, I might as well go somewhere where I can get my moneys worth, such as Cheesecake Factory or Charlie Gitto’s.

Alcohol is a high profit item. The menu now is now a drink menu intertwined with food offerings. You have to search among the menu for appetizers, entrees etc. My wife ordered Walt’s shrimp supposedly with 12 shrimp. 11 arrived and the waitress had to return to the kitchen to complete the order. I ordered the clam chowder. Delicious. Admiral’s Feast was filling and good. The baked potatoes continue to shrink in size. As always bisquits were delicious. Waitress was super.

The waitress was so rude she had to get another one to wait in us, my son got a fish and it was small for $ 15 and was freezer burnt and when we told the waitress she acted like who cares and never did any thing about it, the new waitress was not as bad as the first but couldn’t remember who ordered what and when we tried to tell her She snapped at my son and told him I’ll get it you just sit there Will never go to this red lobster again We have been to others and they were wonderful and to top it off they tryed to add a gruity to our bill for only 4 of us Bad bad

Brought some of the family here to celebrate a few happy things in our lives. We ordered the Ultimate feast, coconut shrimp, and the cajun chicken pasta. Red Lobster offers 4 course meals for $ 16.99. You get soup, salad, entrée, and dessert. There are plenty of food choices to make it a very good deal. The food was served quickly, it was hot, and everything was very good. The restaurant is clean and everyone was friendly. The only downfall was that our waitress was pretty lackluster. She was not at all on top of things at the table. It took a long time to get everything and she was not attentive. Perhaps it was a bad night for her. The food was great and we will be back.

I came here last night with my parents for our usual Friday night dinner. The place was near empty, but we had to wait the proverbial 10 minutes to get a table. Just for the 3 of us! There was one booth near the front of the restaurant that was not clean & still had dishes. Seriously??? It was about 9ish at night when we came here. It took freaking forever to get our drinks & the usual cheddar bay biscuits. Not cool. I ordered the oven-broiled wild-caught flounder, & I told the waitress that I could not have butter. What came out was horrifying. I got about 6 tiny portions of translucent flaky fish with no seasoning. It looked like it was simply steamed. The fish was simply bland & had not taste at all. Just a sprinkle of fresh parsley or some unknown tiny leafy veggie/herb. My dad did not like his dish at all. He got some kind of caribbean fish dish of some sort that I can not recall. Not once did the waitress bother to checkup on us. This is the utmost worst experience I have ever had with Red Lobster or for any restaurant that I can recall. Never again.

We went after a movie around 9:30 pm… their Unilocal says they close at 11, so I thought it was fine to still go in. We walked in, waited to be greeted and neither of the two girls at the front seemed interested. Then a manager walks up and they talk. I finally asked if they were actually open till 11. and if it was okay for us to be there. They decide to seat us finally. Our server was great, food was fine. A trip to the restroom later, i notice a ton of tension and drama between workers. Walking to my table, I walked through a manager yelling at a server for asking for help. Oops. Maybe it was just a rough night for them. But maybe next time handle all that junk away from the customers.

Place is falling fast. Not like it used to be. Food is blah and salads they serve seem old. Fresh salad should be served on a cold plate. Tea has no taste probably due to cost cutting measures. No better now than long john silvers.

I absolutely love red lobster and i have been going to this particular location since i was a kid, so over 20 years now. I only get to eat here a handful of time per year but everytime i do i am very pleased. The seafood stuffed mushrooms are my favorite along with the artichoke dip and i always get the ultimate feast. Service has always been friendly. Ive never really had a bad experience. They get really busy and you have to wait sometimes but thats to be expected. I give 4 stars because the food is delicious but for the price i feel the portions are a little on the small side.

Went here to eat Sunday the 15th and was sorely disappointed. Usual we enjoy eating here once every few months but I don’t know if we will come back now. As soon as we came in they told us to pick a seat near the bar. After our server got our order and brought our salads we sat for about 10 minutes without silverware. Finally got the attention of a busses and got silverware. Then we got our food about 40 minutes after order(they weren’t busy at all). It was someone other than our server who brought it out(i only mention this because every one but our server basically waited on us) and my husband’s baked potato wasn’t loaded like he asked. We got cheese for it after asking. I ordered crab legs which didn’t come with crab crackers or butter sauce or a small fork had to ask for both. The crab crackers were brought by the person who brought our food out. Butter sauce by our server. We were sat next to the bar so I assumed it would he noise but there were constantly employees poking their head over the half wall talking to the bartender over our table and our server sitting at the bar talking to the bartender. It wasn’t an enjoyable experience and I’m ruined on this location now.

Extremely pleased with this place on a Sunday night, it was very busy but got seated right away in a nice booth way in the back but it was great, ordered food quickly and our food arrived very fast too, considering the hordes of crowds, no wait time at all for anything! linguini with shrimp was very good, family was also pleased with our delicious food! Our server Shirley was very nice and friendly. Overall amazing experience. I’ve always loved Red Lobster.

The last time I was at this Red Lobsters, the year was 1982 and I am 8 years old. The 8 year old me loves this place. There’s fishing nets with fake fish caught in them and all sorts of boat paraphernalia/décor. I would order a shrimp cocktail and 7up and cherry soda with an umbrella and cherry in it and feel all glamorous. Fast forward thirty two years to December 2013. I don’t know, the place now seems kind of overpriced and boring. I slide into the bar while waiting for my table and order a riesling. It takes forever to get a table. I order the flounder and potatoes. The fish is delic but there’s something missing and I am not sure what it is. I miss the tacky boat and sea paraphernalia/décor. You can still watch live lobsters in the tank up front at least!

Yes, it’s a chain… and I don’t mind. It is a busy chain at that, so if you’re coming here during primetime dining, be prepared to wait. This is a family friendly restaurant, and you are guaranteed to see and/or hear children. Don’t come here expecting a romantic evening with your significant other and you’ll be fine. The food is pretty decent for the price. All entrees are served with a house or caesar salad, side(s), and of course… CHEDDARBAYBISCUITS! I heart them. :) I believe there are meals for the extra hungry that also come with a cup of soup and dessert on top of everything mentioned above. You will not leave hungry. On the last visit here with my husband, I ordered the the coconut shrimp with a house salad and mashed potatoes. I love, love, love the dipping sauce that comes with these shrimp. It tastes like a piña colada! My husband ordered grilled tilapia with a caesar salad, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. He enjoyed the fish and potatoes, but mentioned the salad had a bit too much dressing and the broccoli was bland. Overall… our meal was good, the prices made me smile, service was friendly, and we did not have a wait since we beat the crowd. That’s all, folks.

So I normally dont write a ton of reviews on «chain» restaurants unless I’ve had above par, or subpar experiences— Well… darling honey and I had decided(actually I decided) to eat at Red Lobster after spending gobs of dough next door at Slyman Bros(review later to come)– I started off by ordering the Lobsterita— SOYUMMY!(but i think they could’ve added more liquor) I really didnt taste any… none actually. No big deal, I was only drinking one any way— and the consitency made up for the lack of tequila… For an appetizer I ordered my all time fav of Red Lobster and that was the calimari— Honestly, I dont know if I’ve ever had calimari that good anywhere else– and it comes with fried red peppers and broccoli– it was light, not chewy, and it didnt come with the other little parts that look like mini octopi– ya dig? After the biscuits, my caesar salad, and the calamari– i was STUFFED. to the max… I ordered the coconut shrimp(the piña colada sauce served with those shrimp is the BOMB!) and i was so full, i could only eat 2!!! :(sad face i know. I did take the rest home, and warm them in the oven a couple days later and they were jussttttt fine… It had been over 4 years since I had been to RL– and I dont think it’ll be that long again– I mean, it wont be tomorrow that I’ll be returning– but it wont be 4+ years either. Oh, and our service was spectacular–

Torn between two servers & attitude was my viewpoint. The food I had was great as usual if not more pricey than other places. Free cheddar biscuits Salad Pic 2 of grilled shrimp &7 oz steak 1 side Tea $ 25 with tax & automatic added gratuities for full dinner. Not bad, but not great. However, they had no problem splitting the bill. Part of our group(including me) arrived & were seated about 8:50& ordered drinks from Belle(not sure the spelling). Before we got our drinks a second server came over & asked when the rest of our group will arrive. We stated that they were almost here. She informed us they were getting ready to close… After a quick look at phones for time(8:54) we apologized and said that we did not know they closed at 9. She said that they close at 10. Belle was a very nice & patient while the other pushed us along. We ordered. We ate. We talked. We were out by 10. Both gave good service, but two different attitudes.

I used to come to Red Lobster to get spectacular food and service. The first time I remember coming to Red Lobster was during New Years eve a long time ago and the wait was exceptionally long. We waited over an hour and a half for a table and they managed to run out of lobster that night. What kind of a Red Lobster runs out of lobster? It had to be good. Nonetheless, I managed to come back just to try the lobster. It was unbelievably good. No wonder why it was in high demand! However, I do not know what Darden Restaurants is doing to this franchise. It is sliding downhill fast. My recent visit was just the latest strike. I did a makeup guard drill today and I wanted to pop in for a quick lunch. According to Red Lobster’s definition, a quick lunch is a least an hour and a half. Most of the time spent was waiting on someone.(And yes, I was in uniform the entire time.) So I walk into the joint and I stand there in the lobby and I wait for someone. There were no sign that said, «Please wait to be seated» or «Please seat yourself», so I attempted my best restaurant etiquette and I waited for a hostess. That wait was almost ten minutes before a shy hostess came to me and asked me if I wanted a booth. I responded with a «yes» to the booth and I was promptly escorted. Thank goodness I had a book to read, courtesy of the Arnold Public library, so I managed not to bore myself with the entire charade. I waited for a bit longer and the original hostess, who seated me, asked me if anyone came to take my order. I responded with a NO. The MIA server, who had no name tag, nor any manners to state her name, came and took down my order. I ordered a strawberry lemonade and the server came back with the delicious cheese biscuits that I always love from this establishment. I quickly guzzled down my drink and the biscuits, anticipating a refill of my beverage. Well, turns out that there were no re-fills of my tasty beverage as I can only receive one drink. Ugh, bad move Red Lobster. Ruby Tuesday offers free re-fills of their signature drinks, why can’t your restaurant? I ordered a fried fish sandwich and fries. I noticed that their fries came out popping hot and fresh, but they were very skimpy with the fries and they were over salted. At once I did a double take at my fried fish sandwich. There was a huge wire-looking black hair on top of the sandwich. Eek! Are you kidding me? I discarded the hair on the floor and I picked up the bun and tried to blow away the nasty germs that the hair could have had. Doesn’t the cooks wear some sort of hair net or have their hair pulled back so nasty hairs don’t end up on the food? And the waitress, who later introduced herself as Wendy at the end of the meal, was still hard to get a hold of, so I managed to eat my possible germ filled sandwich and tried to grin and bear it along with the mediocre portioned fries. I am definitely going to contact the customer relations line as soon as possible, because I received better service at a local Waffle House. Will I come back? It will take Gandalf to move mountains for me to come back to this poorly managed establishment. And for the record: Gandalf and the middle earth both do not exist
