This salon Is always clean, busy and a refreshing place to go. I’ve been coming to see Laurie for 3 years and can’t think of one complaint. The staff here are always accommodating and polite and my hair is exactly the way I ask it to be styled, colored and cut.
The negative complaint on this strand is false because I’ve gone to Michelle for color and cut. The person who posted below and gave one star was clearly out to falsely review the salon and michelle. Posting photos and reviews after you apply your own product is in poor taste.

First let me say this place doesnt even deserve one star. Friday was my first time at this salon and I will never return. My «stylist» was Michelle. I have never left a review on Unilocal and did not want my first one to be a negative but i had to let people be aware. Warning to all blondes out there. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT let her touch your hair. I requested a beautiful blonde ombré, had a photo, and expected everything to run smoothly. After she was done processing the color and drying my hair I could already tell the tone was too warm and brassy and was not right. I asked her to please try and correct this so she tried to lighten it up. she ultimately failed. I went home and styled my hair myself and that’s when I noticed how horrible of a job she actually did. The «highlights» were not blended. there were spots missing color, and the color was all wrong. I went back to request a refund (which I’ve also never done) i feel as if i over paid. she said she couldn’t see anything wrong with the color or blending, offered to correct it but I didn’t want anyone at that salon touching my hair. She did not refund me for this hack job. When I was leaving she made a snarky remark saying I hope I get everything figured out because this is obviously more than just my hair. I told her no, she did a horrible job and left. Thankfully I found a hair guru and she corrected this mess, she also explained all the mistakes Michelle made and couldn’t believe she even is allowed to color hair. OH I also forgot to mention this was my first time coloring my hair in over a year and after Michelle touched it my hair broke off. proceed with caution if you are considering this salon. I found out afterwards I am not the only person this has happened to with more than one stylist from here. I don’t know how they have such rave reviews.

Love salon platinum! Super professional, always walk away with the cut I want, definitely reliable. I’ve seen two stylists there, Stacy is the most current… she’s great! I’d highly recommend her to anyone new to the area who is nervous about going to a new salon. She listened to what I wanted, we discussed her plan, and I’ve been going back ever since!

Stacey Stack has been coloring my hair for about 11 years and I came with her to Snip Snip from Blondies which is now Platinum Hair Salon. Snip Snip was starting to look a little run down and was purchased by new ownership about a year ago. The transformation of this salon has been fantastic. It has a new modern, sleek and classy look. For me the main reason I keep coming back is because of Staceys professionalism and talent with color. I have grown to rely on Stacey to keep my hair color looking vibrant, modern and fresh and she never disappoints. Stacie understands that the key to keeping her clients happy is listening to what they like about their hair and what they want and making them happy with the results!
There have been times when Stacie was unavailable to me and there have been others at Platinum to do my «do» in her absence. (Sharon & Lori) Lots of wonderful, professional stylists in this salon! Platinum also offer manicures and airbrush tanning.

This is my first time going to a new hair salon in over 15 years so the idea of trying somewhere new was scary. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a welcoming smile. When my stylist Stacy was ready she took me back and sat me down and she talked to me. I let her know up front I was scared because I haven’t been anywhere new in years. She was very comforting and understanding. She talked with me about what I wanted for my appointment and what my long term goals were with my hair. She listed to me and took in everything I said, rather than telling me what I should do.
As I was getting my hair done she talked me thru each process so I understood what she was doing. Something’s were different than I was used to, so she explained how and why they do things at her salon that way. It helped a great deal and put me at such ease. Stacy always made sure I was comfortable and asked me on several occasions if there was anything I needed or did I have any questions.
The experience was very pleasant. I was so impressed with her service and personality. I enjoyed my time with her and booked my next few appointments already to ensure I am able to get in and get her.
I have already recommended Stacy to a co-​worker of mine. I just got my hair done on Tuesday… this is Thursday. I am very happy with how my hair turned out and the experience I had.

I’ve been going to this salon for over 10 years now, I actually worked here when I was in high school as a receptionist when it was Snip Snip. The new owners completely revamped the place and made it super modern and it looks just fantastic! I’ve been going to the same hair stylist since I was 17 her name is Andrea Kappler. Not once in the past 10 years have I left unhappy with my hair and I always get compliments. Be sure to check out this salon and ask for Andrea!

Formally Snip Snip Inc, this place has been recently revamped since it was bought by one of the employees. They did a very nice job with making it more modern. They retained most if not all of their staff which is great. I’ve been going to Stacey A. for years now, and she is absolutely wonderful! I’m very picky about who cuts my hair, so once I found someone as great as Stacey, I stuck around. She has talent, but also is a very nice conversationalist, which I appreciate. Nothing worse than being bored as hell staring at yourself in the mirror for half an hour. Do yourself a favor, if you are looking for a new place to get your wig split, come take a gander at Platinum Hair Salon, and don’t forget to ask for Stacey!
