Loved this place. Unfortunately, went there last night for dinner only to find out that it was closed.

Bang for your St. Louis buck. I specify St. Louis due to the Provel-laden pizza. IF you’re a Provel lover, you’ll probably like it. Not the best in town, but a very good version, for sure. We also had a couple of house salads, which were also very good, and pretty big. Add to that a Warsteiner Dunkel, efficient and friendly service, a casual atmosphere and you have a definite winner. What takes it to the next level, though, are the prices. Most beers are just $ 3 and they’ve got a great selection. The salads were $ 3, too. Cheaper than Applebees. This is a fine place to bring the kids, too. I can’t really explain why it was so easy to get a table on a Saturday night, I just know I’ll be back.

Cozy neighborhood restaurant with an emphasis on Italian food and on craft beer. I had the eggplant parmesan, paired with fettucine alfredo — very tasty. The fried ice cream was a filling dessert. My companions came along to drink beer. They were pleased with the beer selection, which is posted on a chalkboard above the bar. Extra points for a very nice tiled bathroom.

Mmmmmmmm Provel cheese, I have missed you! Loved the pizza here. Great tasting STL style pizza. I loved it. I am pretty sure I ate almost an entire pie myself. Good beers. Newcastle on draft. I would definitely recommend coming here for the pizza. I didn’t try the other food but I will go back and try something else at some point. Prices are very reasonable. They have some pastas that sound damn good so I will have to try those next time.

We have a winner! I would like to announce the recipient of the first ever James Gandolfini Memorial Award for Atsa Meal! Parma Grill and Tap doesn’t seem to have much of a history. It doesn’t even have a website. However, tonight Parma made two new fans. At first glance, the establishment is nothing special. It gives no true appearance of being an Italian restaurant, aside from being poorly lit. Past reviews have proclaimed Parma a dive bar. I wouldn’t go that far, but there’s nothing special about the backdrop. What Parma lacks in personality is made up by the prices, portions, and flavor. We started off with the wings, and the waitress said that they were huge. I had no idea what we were getting. «Huge» doesn’t cut it. These babies were mammoth! For eight dollars, we got five whole chicken wings, three jerk and two lemon garlic pepper. We were feeling full before the main course arrived! The portions didn’t get any smaller when the main course made its grand entrance. In fact, they got bigger! My wife had the fettucini alfredo, and she proclaimed it the best that she had ever tried. As for me, my spaghetti with meatballs costed nine dollars, and it was large enough to feed a group of three. And the size didn’t take away from the taste. The gravy had a nice zing, and I left enough on the plate for both lunch and dinner tomorrow! Atsa two more meals! Check out Parma Grill and Tap! Cheap, large, good eats and a great staff!

This place needs some fine-tuning, but it’s not related to the quality of food or passion of the owner. the owner actually waited on us and everything was really good. Seafood(Fruti di Mar) Ravioli, Sausage & Peppers appetizer(think salsiccia patty, sauteed red /yellow peppers, and wonderful red sauce), salads… all the portions were large and the food was delicious. Decent but abbreviated and inexpensive wine list. I found the service to be a lil slow, but not overly. I’ll be back for sure.

Returned to Parma last night. *sigh* I have such high hopes for this place, I really do. The food, once again, is amazing. The prices are fair. Excellent beer choices. But please, please, please higher some more people. Last night the only person working the dining room, and apparently the out door area, was the bartender. She told to people that they«lost a cook» so everything is taking longer than normal. Ok, but why then do I have to ask for a glass of water three times? Why does it take 15 minutes for us to be noticed? And why then are the tables left un-bussed or un-clean. C’mon guys… get it together. The cheese sticks are amazing. The tortellini was great, although I prefer mine just a bit more al dente’. The meat ball sandwich was wonderful. Just higher some people. Oh, and figure out what the deal is with the temperature in there. Because it was not crazy busy, it was not 100 decrees outside, and it was still very warm inside. I have to give this place one last chance… because I have a coupon I can’t pass up. I’ll update then.(Keeping my fingers crossed for a full staff.)

Parma Grill is simply my favorite place to go. The people there are all friendly. Most of the beer is $ 3, and there are some select $ 4 beers for those who really want to splurge. The food menu is excellent too. I absolutely love the BBQ Chicken Pizza, and the Tortellini are great too! Great burger as well! Try the chicken wings with the special«Alexander» sauce. It is a kind of spicy Asian plum sauce that is to die for! The atmosphere at Parma is very relaxed and low key. Usually there is some kind of sports game on the televisions. They are big Cardinals and Blues fans, and Brian(the owner) loves soccer, so if there’s a big game going, he’ll usually have it on one of the screens. Did I mention the appetizer menu? Great stuff. The toasted ravioli are huge, and the spring rolls are good(and are served with the«Alexander» sauce I already mentioned). FAVORITENEIGHBORHOODBARWITH A GREATFRIENDLYATMOSPHERE!!!

Wow! Everything we had at Parma Grill was awesome. Chicken peppernata, Lasagna, Pizza, House Salad, and my personal favorite Chicken Flamingo. Large selection of domestic, import and premium beers for just $ 3 bucks. When we were there, they were very busy and short-staffed, yet our food was still served fairly quickly and everything tasted great. They also have a private parking lot and a nice outdoor patio in the back.

It’s good. Real good. If you like pasta then you’ll like Parma. So far we’ve tried the pizza(A+), lasagna(A+), seafood Ravioli(A+), tortellini in cream sauce(A+), caesar salad(A+) and eggplant parma(C-) — I see someone rated it high though, so will have to give it another try. It could have been an off-night but I found it dry and way too cumbersome. Very reasonably priced. Nice beer & wine selection. Just don’t go too often, or you’ll end up with cardiac arrest. Dishes are ample and heavy.

Went last night for a girl’s night with a Groupon. The Groupon was a great deal, but the prices are very reasonable even without, and entrees come with a nice size house salad and rolls. The bartender was very friendly on our arrival. We wanted to order some wine with dinner, and the list is simple with three whites and three reds, all at the same low price. We went with the Pinot Grigio and it was a nice choice. We ordered and had warm, tasty rolls brought out very quickly, then our salads. The house salad is similar to what you see at many Italian restaurants around town, but done very well with crisp, fresh ingredients and a light, tangy dressing(not sweet!). The main event here is the pasta, and it was spectacular. The pasta noodles and many of the ingredients in each dish are house made, and you can definitely taste the difference. I ordered the lasagna and it was a huge portion. Bubbling sauce, toasted cheese, just the right amount of meat and spice. I honestly rank it up there with much higher end spots around town, such as Trattoria Marcella and Onesto. My friend had the seafood ravioli based on a recommendation from the bartender, and loved it as well. Based on what we saw others ordering while we there, we got two of the more popular items. Both bartenders were very friendly and chatty, and the owner/chef joined in our conversations a few times when he wasn’t busy cooking. Friendly patrons at the bar as well, which is just the kind of vibe you want in a smaller, neighborhood spot. This place has been open a year, and I was so surprised that it hasn’t had more reviews and press. It’s a hidden gem, and will be a great summer spot with a front and back patio.

Parma has good italian food! For instance– Their toased ravioli is a little departure from the norm, kinda rustic hand-breaded pasta rounds perfectly fried and a good dippin’ sauce. The eggplant parma is awesome, really thick cut(like a veggie filet mignon!) with a fluffy breading and sitting on some fettuccini alfredo. Heavy stuff so you can take some home for later. Lasagne is delicious too, super creamy ricotta and a delicious pink sauce. Menu says with ‘very own special recipe sausage’ but that was pretty subtle. There are lots more pasta selections and some chicken & fish, plus one lonely sandwich option(beef or turkey burger, so I guess that’s two options). Entrees are cheap at $ 9-$ 13 and come with a killer Rich & Charlie’s type salad. Not the spot for healthy fare, but a great place to pig out and everything seemed authenic and homemade. Pretty good beer and wine selection too.
