Cozily located inside The Vino Wine Gallery in the beautifully tree-lined Central West End, you’ll find Palate Coffee Bar. Palate Coffee Bar is serving high-quality local coffee and baked goods. The coffee is sourced from Edwardsville, IL based, Goshen Coffee Company. I appreciate that this place has milk options(I fancy almond) and the service is excellent and hugely personal — a true treasure! They also use a La Spaziale Espresso machine, which produces great pulls of espresso. There is not a wide array of syrup choices but having the main staples like mocha and caramel were sufficient. This is not your typical coffee establishment setup. There are two seats on the gallery side and a 4-seat countertop in the wine sampling area. So, seating is the only real downside — there are also a few tables outside. Palate Coffee Bar is cute and will do in a pinch, more so when I really don’t want to consume animal milk or soy milk that drastically alters men and women’s natural hormone levels. Per my Dear Paul K, you can drink lots of wine samples at the Vino Gallery then get your coffee fix here -«win win». Cool bonus about this place is that they have a Unilocal Deal that you can buy and use on the spot($ 5 for $ 10). Milk options and a deal, I’m in!
