Oakville Nails

I came to this place because I was recommended by a friend — and I’m left wondering if that was a good idea. Decent atmosphere, and the prices are great, but my manicure left much to be desired!
I got a $ 12 manicure, with the $ 5 upcharge for a French tip (which seems like a pretty high upcharge to me) and while my cuticles looked great and the massage was awesome, my nail shapes are kind of wonky, the French tip doesn’t even cover the actual white part of my nails, and the top coat is so bubbly that it feels like I have lizard nails and looks like some kind of gross nail disease.
Bummer because I was looking for a great nail salon in the area at my poor girl prices — next time I’ll shell out the extra $ 2 per manicure at a place with more established reviews.
