McKnight Place Assisted Living

I have had a horrible experience with my mom here 10 months. Instead of management saying they could assist with showers they said we can’t make anyone do anything they don’t want to do. Well guess what older people don’t like to take showers and you have to know how to coach them. My mom is not clean they don’t change sheets clean rooms put clothes away. Assist her to dining areas. They don’t do anything we pay 12k plus a month for! Why? Because they are lazy and understaffed and for profit company. A man walks around assisted living and woman scream. No locks on door. Do they do anything about it? No. My brother went to help and the man ran out. Not only until her horrible fall that she dragged herself out from bathroom to hallway and a resident I believe went to help did she get assistance. Most places have watches on that alerts them but they don’t want to do that because that would mean they would have to work! They just told me today they have the watches! What? Only one working manager there. The one in charge Laura refused to give me information on her contract. I have another sibling very upset about this as well and we can’t get her out of there quick enough! Please pray. Get cameras before you think of moving your loved one here that’s how we found out!
