Lots of food for the money(my sesame chicken was three meals worth of food). The crab Rangoon was very good. Fast service. Not the best Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life, but really good for the area!

There is a new owner! The food is now really good and the owner is extremely nice and personable. Food menu is much more similar to the typical Chinese menu so there are no more cheap price and cheap tasting $ 4 dinner meals that you take two bites of and throw in the trash. Try the cashew chicken if you like it at other restaurants, it is great here.

We had them cater for a family party. Their online menu was different from their real menu, so we had to scramble to change all of our orders. The food came late and was terrible. I don’t recommend this place at all.

Good value for the amountyou get of food. WE always get the daily special. i think it is like $ 4 and some chnage. Huge helping of rice and chicken the 2 crab ragooons. THELADYATCOUNTER is kinda real mean. try to make smale talk and she is like a deer in headlights. BUT she is nice whom she is clique-ish with. I mean we have been going years, not nice, but one of her other she is all friendly. PLUS you get fortune cookies… so food a BIGYES! Lady behind counter NOWAY!

Oh no! Ownership changed and now my fave $ 5 joint has gone away and in place is a $ 7+ dinner combo with WAY(I mean WAY) less options for that menu section. Really really disappointed, because you get nothing else for the higher price, you somehow get less. Looks like the search is on again for a Chinese joint, which is sad :(

I have reviewed this restaurant before back in 2011. I think the owner may have retired and there is either a new owner or manager. I went there about a month ago, and to say I was dissapointed after all of these years is heartbreaking to me. Nothing tasted the same as it did before, and I should have checked the bag before I left, because I was missing my egg roll. I loved their egg rolls, but maybe I did not miss out on anything, if I go by the food that I had. Lackluster at best, and so dissapointing to a loyal and long time customer of this restaurant. I may go back, if nothing else, to see if it was a fluke, but from seeing a recent negative review on Urbanspoon, my hopes will probably be dashed. *sigh*

We have been going there for years. The lady at the counter remembers us and what we order. The food is always good and fresh.

This place is the best for take-out. It’s cheap… about $ 4.50. I always get a ‘daily special’ which gets you the 2 crab rangoon and a ton of food. I don’t know why you’d need a coupon or order off the non daily special menu. We eat here about once a month. You can’t beat the great food for the price.

The lady at the counter of Li Yuan comes off a bit of a curmudgeon when you first come in. At least, if you try to use a coupon. If you do, let me save you a little trouble; the rules are stacked against you, so you might as well just order one of the daily specials. After deciding where to stuff our coupon(in the trash), we ordered the chicken and broccoli special, which comes with crab rangoon and fried rice, and chicken Egg Foo Yung, which comes with steamed rice. The total with two sodas was $ 12, which we thought was a pretty good deal. Both of these dishes were among the best we’ve had. They were cooked in what I would describe as the American style, but the ingredients were very fresh and the seasoning was perfect, at least to our tastes — nothing bland here. As we were finishing our meals, the lady came out to talk to us a bit. Turns out she’s pretty nice, if a bit of a character. She says they haven’t raised prices here in 17 years. Sodas were still just 99 cents, some lunch specials under $ 5. Everything is always made fresh to order(although we don’t think crab rangoon is included in this claim as they were at room temperature). They never advertise, only growing from word of mouth, and 90% of their customers are regulars. I believe it. We’ll be back and we’ll probably become regulars.

Great value and good flavor. I only use this place for takeout. It’s got tables and chairs, but nothing to write home about décor wise.
