Yes they are as good as it gets and they charge dear money for their quality. I been coming to this cop shop for nearly 30 years, when they were still located on Manchester by Vandaventer. Their current location is far superior to the old location. The old location was so small. The current shop is spacious and accommodating. If your in the Police, Security, Fire or EMS field Leon’s can get you fully taken care of with uniforms and equipment. However I hope your department has an account with Leon’s you can charge it off to.

I called about a briefcase their website said they had in stock. The clerk stated they didn’t carry the product any longer, but that they had a similar product in stock. I drove twenty minutes to the store and told the owner what I needed. He acted like I was crazy for even asking and advised me that the product I was asking about was for bus drivers. He tried to up-​sell me and was dismissive. I’ve been shopping at Leon’s for eighteen years, but given that it was the owner and not just a salesperson who treated me so shabbily, I will not return.

Finding what you need in public service locally can be difficult, if you don’t have time to order from a catalog, or you are someone who likes to touch and feel something before they buy, this is the place for you. They fill a needed market gap from Uncle Sam’s and a Gall’s catalog.
Not my first choice for equipment and uniforms, but when you need something they usually have it. The prices are a little high, but the staff is always friendly and they have very good turnaround on tailoring.
