Lena Nails

Positives: Minimal wait time; I was seated immediately, and service was fast. I came in to get my acrylic nails filled in. The woman who did my nails was detail-​oriented, and did a good job overall. Prices are great; more affordable than other nearby nail salons.
Negatives: The place looks run down… and dirty. Upon entering, someone from the very back of the salon yelled «welcome, what you want?» I felt uncomfortable having to yell my answer across the nail salon. I got the impression that they don’t sanitize tools between clients. I had a VERY hard time communicating with ANY of the employees; none of them spoke more than a word or two of English, so they used mostly hand gestures to indicate what they were trying to tell me.

Went there with my sister for the first time tonight. We both got pedicures. The staff were very nice, they were very detail oriented, and did an amazing job with our feet. We had been hiking and so our feet were not in great shape coming in. The vibe is very relaxed. The price is terrific – $ 20 for a pedicure. And it was much better than the ones I’ve gotten at Beautiful Nails.
The only complaint is that their magazine selection is not very large or up to date. Bring your own reading material and this is the best place in town.

This place is fantastic! After a bad full set experience at Amy Nails in the county, I headed to Lena Nails. When I arrived, I was greeted by friendly staff who asked me what I needed and told me it’d be about a five minute wait. About four minutes later, I was sitting at a station, where a friendly young nail tech. began working magic on my hands.
I got a full set, and it was fantastic. It was $ 18, and unlike a manicure, they don’t deal with the cuticles and all that nonsense. However, he was very quick, and very detail oriented. He made my nails look the most natural they’ve ever looked before. In addition to that, he kept asking if I was okay and kept telling me to make sure my nails were okay. They look great! It’s been over a week, and it doesn’t look like I’ll be needing a fill until maybe Saturday (six days from now).
I got my eyebrows waxed, too. I only paid $ 7, and was quite impressed. The only thing I don’t like about the wax is that she uses the plastic razors to shape them. However, if you opt out, she won’t use it.
This place is sanitary and spacious, so you aren’t crammed into other customers. The pedicure seats look good as well. Plus, this place is cheap.
Give them a try … seriously!
