My son just turned 1 and we have had quite the time finding a pair of shoes that fit him since he has a high in step AKA Fred Flintstone feet :) I am not exaggerating when I say I’ve bought him 10 pairs of shoes and NONE fit. I’ve special ordered them, taken him to a children’s shoe department and still no luck. Laurie’s Shoes was suggested to me and I am happy to say that he is now the proud owner of 2 pairs of shoes. After telling the Sales Associate about my dilemma, she smiled and said, «High insteps don’t scare me.» Now I know why. She measured his foot and brought out 6 – 7 pairs of shoes for him to try on. He needs a wide or extra wide. Yes, you can lol. I did! I really loved that we didn’t have to special order the shoes. They carry wide in stock and he had many tennis shoe options to choose from. Not as many«dress» shoes, but still I was able to find some that I liked. I will try the location on Manchester next time because I hear it is a little larger and has more«wide» options.
