This place is a certified dump, and that’s being generous. 90% of the machines are the old, antique white/yellow circa 1978, and the agitator variety at that. No Bueno. They do have a few front-loaders … maybe 12 or so, and they are all triple loaders, costing $ 3.50 per load, with a couple of larger industrial size front-loaders in the mix, which cost a little more. Antiquated equipment aside, the place is dirty. I’ve been to many other Laundromats(most in south city) and this one is by far the dirtiest. The washers have old soap, lint, and other debris on them, and don’t appear as if they’ve been wiped down, well … ever. Based on their appearance, I was hesitant to put my clothes in the machines, but I was already there, and had already lugged 3 baskets of clothes inside from the parking lot, so I decided to risk it, and just use the machines, despite their outward appearance. So I put my laundry in two large washers and waited in the parking lot in my car, versus staying inside and using their advertised«free wifi» and other services(1970’s era couches, old television, etc.). Now, perhaps you’re wondering … why did she choose to sit in the car? Well, it was a beautiful 70 degree day, and I didn’t want to be cooped up in the dark, hot, Laundromat. And, when I say hot, I’m not exaggerating. It had to be about 90 degrees in there. I realize it’s Fall, but on a warm day, when several heat-generating machines are running, it might be a good idea to turn on the AC. I’m just sayin’. My final complaint about this place? I called in the morning to ask if they accept debit cards for the self-service /coin laundry. The gentleman on the phone told me, yes, they do! However, when I arrived, the lady working behind the desk(who just sat there the entire time I was there doing my laundry, when at other Laundromats I’ve been to, the staff is constantly cleaning the machines, floors, etc.) told me, no, they don’t accept debit for the self-service laundry. Annoying and inconvenient to say the least. Enough ranting. I’m sure everyone gets the gist of what this place is, and how it’s kept, from what I’ve written here. However, if you don’t, all I can say is … avoid it. There are much better, much cleaner places to do one’s laundry in St. Louis. Doing laundry is torturous enough, why make it worse by doing laundry at this place?

We used their drop off laundry service. $ 1 per pound. They did ok but up charge for anything other than clothes. For example they charged $ 1.25 for pillow cases(seriously). They don’t use any fresheners so your clothes end up smelling a little musty.
