Had Ruby perform a Reiki session on me recently, with the goal of healing some pain I was having in my feet and knees. She is a master at what she does, and I can already feel improvement where she focused the healing energy. I also now have a general feeling of lifting through my whole being since our session. I’m traveling through the states and always gravitate towards energy/​spiritual centers and stores and found this cozy little shop on my way to the tea room across the street. Upon entering, there was no greeting or even really acknowledgement of my existence when I walked in. A patron’s dog, however cheerfully sniffed and licked me and followed my heels. The most I received from the humans there was an apology for being «in the way». The setup is cluttered and felt like a basement and not very inviting. I squeezed my way out of the store, brushed the dust from my sandals and left with my peace.

Karmic Korner is a new shop that recently opened in the Morgan Ford business district, just south of Arsenal. They are nice people. They sell tea, candles, herbs, homemade toiletries, incense, spiritual books, etc. They’re just getting started. They were offering complimentary shamanic healing when i stopped by and say they offer tarot readings, Runes, and a variety of other alternative spiritual offerings.
