I like it cheap,(because I’m broke) and easy(because I’m lazy) so drive thru revs my engines(because I can’t drive, what?!) Plus, I’m nearly a year into a new stricter eating mision, so I never get any fast food, making it seem more special than it necessarily has to be. Take all of that into consideration, then, when I say this was the worst Jack In The Box I’ve ever eaten. My standards are low low low, and the food was paid free-to-me, so it had to be sad for me to say that. First, not what I ordered. Then, the large soda was crazy over filled and foamy, so it spilled all over me just standing still(a three napkin mountain couldn’t curb the eruption). The curly fries were the most disheartening part. *sigh* It’s actually hard to make all the curly fries soggy, but they managed it. They were actually yellow with extra oil, and had the consistency of chicken salad, hot and congealed in the box. And the Jumbo Jack, argubly the«signature sandwich», was just. .. What a shame. Burnt bun, burnt meat, burnt cheese. Mealy tomato, dirty flavorless lettuce, condiments every which way. I honestly wish we’d gotten something from the gas station instead. It would have been fresher, and prepared with more care. It was just that far from grace. What a shame. It was just supposed to be a little treat to make the laundry mat a little jolly. No such luck.

Jack in the Box is one of my favorite fast food places, but this particular location is one of the worst I’ve ordered from. We live in Jefferson Barracks so it’s convenient to go here, but more times than not the food is not fresh or they get the order wrong. I’ve had problems the past 3 out of 4 times I ordered food from here. The first time my Monster Taco was basically half a shell since the other half was broke apart when I opened it. The second time the bacon on my Sourdough Jack tasted like charcoal. The third time they got my order wrong all together. I emailed corporate about a few of the problems and I received a response back in a timely manner from the district manager of the location. Sadly all they can do is tell me to mention their name on my next visit to get the food free. The problem with this is that most employees probably won’t be too happy know you’re the one that got them in trouble, so I’m not too eager to take advantage of this offer. Just send me a coupon or gift card… is it really that hard?

Don’t order tacos here they are typically not fresh at this location, and if you think that you are going to get a shake after the day shift you are wrong… The shake machine is always broken after 9 pm. The staff is not the best groomed either… Also they recently put Christmas lights out side the drive thru and left the cords in sight looks trashy and like shit… Someone please talk to management
