The current temperature is 17. Frigid. Yet, my Imo’s order arrived HOT and great as usual! Impressive. Even the delivery guy had a big smile — hard in this weather. Imo’s does it right!

Worst dine-in experience I have had at a restaurant in a long time. My kids and I ordered one large pizza and we still did not have it an hour later despite having popped up to the counter 3 separate times to check on it. It was not even a busy time. Once the front staff finally checked on the pizza for real they realized it still had not made it to the oven. The girl working the counter asked what she could do to make it right. I asked for a refund on the pizza. Rather than granting my request, she only offered for me to write down my name so I could ask for a credit the next time. I went along but when the pizza still was not out 15 minutes later, I had to call it quits so my kids could get home to get their homework done before bedtime. I did get my refund but walked away without dinner and very unhappy. Thankfully the nearby Taco Bell actually knew how to complete an order without making me feel like the bad guy. Even the customers at our nearby table commented on how badly we were treated. I did ask for the card of the owner but was just given his name. Very disappointing.

I hadn’t had an «Imo’s pizza» in a long time so I ordered a cheese pizza to be delivered. There is now a delivery charge. The pizza was not like I remembered. It was smothered in a too sweet tomato sauce. There seemed to be too much cheese, It was a continuous blob. The overall taste was not remarkable. I think it will be a while before I get one again, or perhaps I will try one with multiple toppings to diffuse the sweet tomato sauce. A disappointment…

Called at 11:30am for a delivery of lunch special; Had to cancel the order at 1pm as it had not arrived yet. Waiting over an hour and a half and still no order is ridiculous; and not even an «I’m sorry» was said. After speaking to others at my work place, this is apparently the norm for this location. Imo’s — Let’s step it up and get your life together!

I thought the pizza was excellent. If you like thin crust and pizza cut into squares, this is the place for you! Prices were pretty good and I’m always a fan of the self-serve soda fountains. Don’t leave without trying the toasted ravioli. It makes for a great appetizer. All-in-all the food is good and so is the value at Imo’s.

I’ve been coming here since the days I walked home from Nipher Middle School. We were always a fan of the arcade games but eventually the pizza and $ 6.50 pitchers came to be the big incentive. It’s a clean place which has really improved its image since 1998. I will always remain a loyal customer to this location.

Several St. Louis area friends have raved about this place, but not being a pizza fan, and having high standards for food, I was really reluctant to try it. This location was really good. Really awesome thin crust(like a cracker) pizza. If you don’t like thin crust pizza, you will not like Imo’s. Great, flavorful sauce, all the way to the edges. A bit messy since it’s cut into squares. The atmosphere wasn’t anything special. I’m guessing they have more take out than anything else. It reminded me of an old school pizza joint we used to go to when I was a kid. Nothing fancy, no specialty pizzas, just good pizza. We went to a location in downtown inside a hotel another time, and it was downright awful! Awful service(multiple issues with fountain machine, which we complained about twice, and they never fixed), the cheese was creamy(Like cream cheese… Whaaaa???), and there hardly any sauce on it. Stick to a full blown Imo’s, and I think you will be OK. But I’ve only had it twice.

I have been coming to this Imo’s almost my entire life. It is the epitome of the comfort of home. And since home is Kirkwood, this Imo’s means a lot to me. It was always the first place I would head when I came home from college. The pizza is amazing no matter what out of town guests think. Provel — you either love it or hate. I love it. Their sausage is great. The toasted raviolis can’t be beat. Salads are wonderful. The prices at Kirkwood are lower than any other Imo’s around and their lunch specials can be purchased all day long. I even secretly love the fact that only true locals know how to get into the back parking lot. I love Kirkwood. And I love the Kirkwood Imo’s. Its a part of my childhood, adolescense, young adulthood, and now parenthood. It is my pleasure to pass the love of Kirkwood Imo’s on to my children!

I love pizza, but I honestly think IMO’s is kind of gross. You basically get a saltine cracker covered in sauce and Elmer’s school glue for«cheese.» Feels like sludge is coursing through your veins the moment you ingest it. I do love the dressing they make… but that’s about it. The only time you’d catch me eating this pizza is after 11 beers at 2:30 a.m. when my inhibitions have been completely obliterated.

I don’t understand provel cheese. This stuff is disgusting. On top of that it tastes like 3 day old mama Celeste(not that I’d know what that tastes like) I’d imagine it’s this. Get your pizza game together St. Louis

Pizza is basically sauceless and crust reminds me of a cracker. My understanding is that the cheese is a STL original thing. The cheese wasn’t terrible, it was interesting. The large pizza is more of a medium and wont feed more than two people. Not worth the money at all. The staff was rude. Driver forgot our soda and asked, «do you need me to go back and get it?» I heard it’s family owned. Non existing customer service. If you want a crappy pizza experience for lots of money, imos is for you.

I suspect that most other reviewers are younger folks, and they may not remember what Imo’s pizza was like a couple of decades ago. The product is simply not the same now. The crust has not changed, still deliciously crackery, but the amount of toppings for the amount of money that you pay has dropped dramatically. I am not a fan of most national chain pizzas, as cheap as they are, but you get what you pay for folks, and now, Imo’s is no different than Lil Ceasars or Papa John’s, but they want much more of your dollars. I can make a better, richer, more complex pizza with a store-bought crust much cheaper. Sadly, no more Imo’s for us. The end of an era for me.

Imos pizza is obviously the best, but the Kirkwood Imo’s is head and shoulders above any other pizza joint in the area. There really is no comparison I will ALWAYS choose the kirkwood imo’s over anything else. The food is always perfect and their customer service is top notch!

I remember why I never eat here. The pizza is not the best, but pizza a pizza right. Even when it’s bad it’s still pretty good. Had a coupon for a free 14″ pizza so the husband and I got that and a salad. You can tell the place has been here for a white. I know people love this place so do what you want. This is just one personas opinion.

This Imo’s is a little bit older than most… but the food is the same. Thin crust, sweet sauce, provel. You can dine in here. There is parking out back. I’m not a huge Imo’s fan. There simply is better pizza choices(A’mis, Dewey’s, Pi are all close). But when feeling nostalgic, it’s good to know they’re always around.

If one is going to be in St. Louis, one must eat IMO’s. If one is to eat IMO’s, one must eat at the Kirkwood location. Friendly service, clean tables, and of course, the most delicious pizza. Also, let the record show that the owner of this location honored a $ 100 gift card(from 2009) which had depreciated in value to $ 48. He was so generous and kind and provided exceptional customer service.

Wow. Since downtown St. Louis apparently shuts down early, we needed some food later in the evening and randomly chose this pizzeria near our hotel — and given how quickly three people hoovered down a very large pizza, we chose wisely. Thin crust was cooked to perfection and the cheese was just the right consistency and amount. Wish we had ordered two … We had the pizza delivered so I can’t speak to the atmosphere, staff or establishment itself.

Seriously, how can you be a St. Louis native and NOT like IMOS? My fav is sausage, green pepper and onion. There is just something about that combo that sits well with me. Oddly I only get this combo at Imos! I also love their salads and toasted ravioli. Great cheesecake also! Great cheese garlic bread too! Bring on the provolone cheese please!!!

This location is sort of hard to find unless you know exactly where it is. The sign is very hard to see at night. Overall, the service was quick but the pizza was not as good as some of the other locations I’ve been to. The toasted ravioli was great but the pizza was just OK.

I grew up in STL but haven’t lived here in ages. I remember Imo’s and Gianino’s(which I believe may be gone…) fondly so when I was on my way to the airport after a short visit here, I thought I’d take a quick lunch detour here. I should have let Imo’s live in my memory as my lunch was DISAPPOINTING! My pizza was flavorless, soggy, and sloppily made. It would have been nice for the counter guy to point out that the lunch special would have saved me $ 5 and given me more food, but my bad… I know this is «St Louis style» pizza but it’s gotta be better than this.
