Hohmeier Auto Body

This guy deserves a review. I am actually surprised he doesn’t have a single one on here yet!
I was hesitant to write this because I was embarrassed about what happened to my car, but whatever. I have decided to accept the fact that as a 19 year old, I wasn’t the best driver around. I had never driven on the interstate before for more than a half an hour. I had never taken a road trip solo. So when it came time to drive from Pittsburgh to St. Louis ALL by myself, I was a little anxious.
Car was close to brand new at the time (2009 I believe.) I was driving somewhere around Columbus, OH when I lost control due to me being distracted. My dad had kept calling my cell to make sure I was OK and ironically it led to a chain reaction accident. I don’t really wanna go through the specific details since that’s not what this review is for (plus traumatic memories for me!), but in the end my car’s back right bumper needed replaced and some minor straightening out of my quarter panel. VERY minimal damage considering what had happened. I got out lucky, for sure. I had pictured myself in the hospital, but I didn’t even get whiplash!
So fast forward to me finishing the drive to St. Louis. I finally arrived at my dorm, shaking and trembling mostly due to exhaustion. I was stressed out about the car damage. My dad didn’t seem to mind, though, he was just glad I was OK. I never told my mom. So to this day, she has no idea unless she read this review! Ha ha!
But yeah, I get to my dorm and immediately start looking for places to get estimates for my car repairs. I wanted that thing looking BRAND NEW so if my mom saw it, she wouldn’t have the slightest of clues that anything had happened to it!
Well I ended up taking it to Hohmeier Auto Body because they gave me the lowest quote and was even able to go a little lower since I received a pretty cheap one from a friend’s dad’s business (but all the way out in Hermann… and I was already burned out/​scarred from driving!)
Let me tell you, they do a fantastic job on cars. My car literally looked brand new, or better than new, perhaps! The owner is super nice and he walked me through the whole process. They do good, honest, work, and I had a great experience. I would definitely return for more body work!
