When I go to a Hard Rock I expect real food. But they want to charge me $ 70 for frozen meat patties. The server and hostess were both nice. But the food is garbage. I thought Toby Keith’s Bar and Grill was cheap but this place makes TK’s look like French cuisine. I’m thinking if they could poor Lost Lake beer in the Corona bottles, sale it as Corona, and get away with it… they would. The only thing that was true about the Hard Rock was that my burger was hard as rock.

Food was awful! The pulled chicken sandwich was so gross after two bites I gave up. The only thing good is the music and French fries.

Server was very friendly and the atmosphere was very inviting. Food came out fast and was excellent. Good place to grab a bite before heading to the game. Yum!

Went to HRC before Polar Express this past Saturday. My daughter said she didn’t like her mashed potatoes. I tried them and they were horrible. They were dark brown. Mentioned this to our server and she brought out new mashed potatoes. They were not brown so there was obviously something wrong with the first order. The rest of our food was not very good either. Bad pulled pork and bad bbq chicken sandwiches. Food was dried out and just didn’t taste good. Not at all worth the price. Service was good and management did address the issues with us but it didn’t change the fact that the food was not good.

We don’t usually eat at HRC because their prices are so outrageous compared to the quality of the food. However, we decided that we would give it another chance because we were in the area and hungry. I ordered the hickory BBQ burger, which in the photo is smothered in BBQ sauce. I ordered it with no pink. The burger that came out had no BBQ sauce on it(completely dry), and it was burned to a crisp. Now, it is possible to make a burger with no pink in the middle without charing it black and crisp on the outside. Oddl, my grandma, who also requested her burger with no pink, received a half-cooked burger. Why the huge difference on 2 burgers requested cooked the same way? When my grandma was explaining this to the waitress, she walked away after a pause. Just simply walked away. I thought to get a manager, or to follow up. But not a word was said about it again. My mom ordered the nachos, and those came out basically inedible… rock hard, burned chips and crunchy hamburger meat. 3 out of 4 meals were disgusting. Super glad each one cost us $ 15. We will not be eating at another HRC again.

I’d been meaning to stop in here after previously eating at Hard Rock in Louisville and in Baltimore. The menu is very limited. I ordered the club sandwich. It was mediocre at best. The onion rings were OK. The sauces that can with it were inappropriate. The bill came back wrong. The place was almost empty. I can see why. I’ll never go back unless at gunpoint.

It was nice seeing all the music memorabilia throughout the restaurant but the prices were a bit much for me and the food wasn’t that good for the prices.

We were advised to go to the Hard Rock for«real food» rather than go to the food court in Union Station or to Siberg’s at our hotel. Our server, Cinnamon, gave the impression she’d rather be anywhere than waiting tables. Low energy and I felt we were bothering her by sitting at her table. My granddaughter ordered a kid’s meal cheeseburger with fruit and I ordered the New York Strip cooked medium. The steak was cooked closer to medium well but had no flavor and was poor quality. I don’t like steak sauce(a good thing since Cinnamon was nowhere to be found the rest of the meal) but no amount of steak sauce could have saved it. There was ketchup at the table and despite using it and copious amounts of salt, the steak had no taste. The local Sizzler probably has better cuts. It came with smashed potatoes which were alright, and an overcooked piece of broccoli. The fruit cup that accompanied the kid’s meal consisted of a couple of orange slices. The cheeseburger was obviously a frozen patty. Points for the guitar shaped plate. $ 8 for the kid’s meal and $ 26 for the steak. Cinnamon never came back to refill our water, so we left thirsty. I finally managed to catch her attention long enough to ask for the check. $ 38 after tax for one of the worst experiences ever. The check conveniently figures tip for you, suggesting 18 or 20%. Normally, I do tip at least 20%. However, it’d be nice if the server at least pretended to be pleased to wait on me and did something to earn it. Cinnamon didn’t even bring our dinner, someone else did! Sorry, Hard Rock, I’m unimpressed. Next time, I’ll risk the food court. It can’t be worse.

The worst Hard Rock ever. Our burger’s were like a frozen Bubba burger from the freezer aisle. All wet and the same color inside and out. The bun was definitely Wonder Bread. It was a Sunday so maybe they ran out? The manager needs to be there and review what is going on. So sad.

I came here tonight with the understanding my parking would be free through validation. I spent over $ 90 and they say they can’t validate my parking. I’d have left no tip if I knew this bullshit. Or not have came at all. Highly upset and will not return. What a racket.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We had reservations for 30 people at 8:00 pm and the food was pre ordered and pre paid. It was 9:30 pm when they finally seated us. They are starting to bring some peoples’ food at 10:30 pm. I asked repeatedly to talk to the manager to no avail. Later I find that the manger is working the line in the kitchen. They weren’t going to say no to all the parties that made reservations and pre paid for them despite knowing that they don’t have the capability to serve them all. Many in our party had ordered burgers with fries. The burgers came completely cold to the table but the fries were nice. What a racket.

The food is good. The service is pretty good, but could be better. Our waitress was nice to me, but a little cold to the others at the table. Overall, the night there was okay. I recommend the Mystery Mojito if you like a refreshing cucumber flavor – just be prepared to wait for it. We come every year before going to the Blues games, and we’ll go again. I just wish it was as fun going to this Hard Rock as it used to be.

Update: Although I still can’t recommend the food, I really appreciate the customer service by these guys. It’s really easy to get offended and upset by customers who leave negative reviews, but instead of reacting rudely, they were very responsive to my concerns and dislikes, and took steps to make changes.

Fantastic evening here at Hard Rock Café. The bartender ROCKED(pun intended) and the entire staff was laid back and just awesome to be around. I visited the night before Thanksgiving, and even though business was a bit slow because of that, the atmosphere was still awesome. My only complaint is that my wine ended up being about $ 11 a glass, but it’s my fav so I suppose I should’ve seen that coming.(I do understand that’s not this location’s fault.) I would like to be able to park here without having to pay. That, too, may’ve been my fault for not asking to have my parking validated. Overall — I had a great evening here and would return again! Thanks, staff for making my experience great. :)

Took my father here on his birthday before we went to a Jackson Browne concert. Appropriate, right? I’ve been to a couple of Hard Rock Cafes. It’s been years since I went to this one. It was packed on a Monday night. I’m surprised we were seated immediately 6 p.m. I guess it was a mix of concert and baseball game attendees. Despite the busyness, our server did a great job taking care of us. We did a touristy thing in purchasing souvenir glasses. You get brand new, clean glasses, boxed, from the gift shop, so that’s pretty cool. The food? Dad had a burger that he couldn’t finish. I had a mac and cheese that was pretty good. Not Cheese-ology good(but what is?) and not Field House good, but really filling, considering it was a side and not a main dish. Neither had room for dessert. My complaint about Hard Rock is that it’s so loud. I wasn’t expecting an intimate meal, but had we been seated in the main room, we would have been shouting to hear each other. Perhaps this is to be expected at Hard Rock. Hard Rock is certainly a good option if you’re going to the Peabody! I parked one block up from the Peabody and it was a pretty short walk from there to Union Station and back.

I am not usually a fan of chains anyway. This venue is not the best one out of the chain that I have been too. It is not very big. Though the food was good and the service was good too. Although overpriced for the quality. They definitely have a Kiss theme at this one. I was hoping more for Jazz memorabilia. Overall, good for a decent meal but expect to pay more for the name.

I actually read the reviews while sitting inside the restaurant. Some of reviews were not flattering. There was some trepidation as I waited for my meal. I ordered the grilled salmon and I was blown away. The salmon was so tender and had a very robust taste. The mashed potatoes and broccoli were also on point. Later, I had the apple cobbler for dessert. The desert was scrumptious and decadent. The only downside was that the cobbler was not warm enough. The server was very nice, provided good service, and she was very cute. There is an odor in the restaurant, but I will definitely be back.

Eh. It’s Hard Rock Café. Chain food. For that I have no complaints, and my service was great. Just so happens that when I was visiting STL in ’11 prior to moving here, Hard Rock was the one restaurant I stopped in. I picked up a copy of the RiverFrontTimes and was looking at apartment prices, since as it was, I was on a 2-month road trip criss-crossing the country trying to decide where to move in 7 months after college. My waitress, and another waiter, made it their mission to tell me what they could about the STL rental market, and made a convincing case about how dirt cheap it was. My own research later backed up their claims, and whaddya know. 7 months later, the day after I graduated college, I was on a one-way Frontier flight from Denver to STL. To recap: It’s Hard Rock Café. Nothing too impressive, though my service was above par. I still get a little nostalgic every time I walk by(seeing as I now live 3 blocks away), however.

I will never do this again! A friend and I went in here for dinner… around 8PM. And it wasn’t crowded for a Friday night and I ordered the Grilled Chicken Arugula salad with the dressing on the side and my friend ordered Twisted Chicken Mac & Cheese w/garlic bread. So our food comes and my salad had the dressing on it and my friend got her garlic bread after she was done eating. Now I did say it wasn’t crowded in there, there were less then 10 customers in the restaurant… so why is it, you couldn’t get my food right? And how do you mess up a salad? Well the garlic bread came after my friend finished eating right when we were complaining to the manager! The best part of this adventure… the meal was free! The server kept apologizing for her inability to get it right! Will I go back… uh…NO!

It’s alright. Food is A-OK, pricey and lacks value for money. We probably liked our burgers a little better when we were starving at 3:30 pm waiting for our Megabus. Partner ordered the Californian burger(standard fare, alright, but cost $ 14 — pricey) I ordered the«local speciality» burger. It was decent but kinda weird. I expected some St. Louis style stuff(whatever that may be) but it was nachos and avocado sauce, prompting me to ask if we were in the Southwest or something. Waitress was great but didn’t know why they had it that way. Sure it was decent, but the aftertaste: I felt my stomach churning as I walked outside. Its probably not good quality beef. Borrowing from Lorelei’s reviews, «An ecclectic/confusing menu which seems to want to go between american and tex-mex style dishes. Mediocre food at best. definitely nothing off the charts going on here.» Nice for the fans of rock music though, I think they have Eddy VH’s stuff here or something like that.
