Return policy on cheap Chinese items isn’t very good either. Save your receipt, because they will not help.

OMG! Who knew? I didn’t know until my friend Norma, took me here on a shopping outing. She had a coupon she wanted to redeem and as we browsed the store I was in total amazement. I was totally blown away by the selection and prices.
It’s a big box like Lowe’s and Home Depot minus all the bullshit. By that I mean, there is no lumber, garden shop or appliances. They totally focus on tools and hardware. I saw things I have always wanted at lower prices and discovered new gadgets that I never knew I wanted or needed.
If you go, by all means sign up for their mailings and e-​mails. You’ll receive coupons that will get you discounts on their already low prices. If your a handyman or handywoman, you owe it to yourself to check Harbor Freight Tools out.

Harbor Freight is. large tools shop located in a strip mall on Chippewa just east of Kingshighway in south city. They specialize in tools and items that might come in handy at a mechanic or woodworking shop, but they also carry all kinds of odds and ends gadgets that would come in handy for anyone.
They don’t carry lumber, landscaping and other goods like a Lowes or Home Depot, but they have a large selection of options in every kind of tool imaginable.

There is a rather tall lady named Cathy that stands out in my mind because she goes over and beyond her job. She’s extremely knowledgeable and courteous. She just stands out. I’ve dealt with a number of Harbor Freight locations, starting with the original one in Camarillo, CA. From time to time I have come across less than helpful employees (rare) so I feel it is sort of a duty to mention Cathy’s outstanding presence.

Great alternative to the popular chains if you need to grab a tool and save a few bucks. Also, they have lots of random products that some people might find interesting. Went in looking for pliers and my attention was drawn to the $ 5 machete and the 2 lb magnet. Oh, and the incindiery box. Easy place to browse for an hour.
