Hampton Carpet Shop Inc

It’s been about a year since we used Hampton, and I have to say the quality of work and product is very good. After going to several big-​name stores and being told that they couldn’t work with our budget, we decided to visit the neighborhood store. It’s a tiny little place that you would miss if you weren’t looking for it. While the shop isn’t much to look at, there is a surprising amount of samples to look at. That was the best decision we made. John was easy to work with and gave us a great price on a very high quality carpet. It took about 10 days for them to get the carpet in, but once they had it, they were ready to install. The actual Install went very well and we were left with a neatly done job.
My only criticism is that we were promised a full install in one day, but the installer did not know that. Kudos to him for staying and getting the job done right and not rushed.

I made the mistake of letting them carpet several rooms in my house. The owner, a VERY LARGE man came to my house to measure. I decided to have this tile like flooring put in front of the doorways, along with the carpeting of the rooms.
Within a few months the tile started coming up, when I called to complain, the owner said it was coming up because it was in front of the door! I asked why I wasn’t told that it would come up when he measured and he said «You didn’t ask».
I also did not like how the seams are so obvious and the padding is too thin. They kept telling me that the pad was just right and would be fine. ANOTHER lie, I have not been happy with any interactions I had with them or the carpet and the tile flooring. A several thousand dollar mistake.
