I call them the plant doctors… Because they are! I had a plant that is pretty important to me that started to wither and brought it to them. They repotted and told me what exactly was going on. My friend also needed some plants for his classroom and he also got them here. They are friendly, informative and most importantly very helpful. The new management have really turned this place around and they are doing great things. If you are looking for new additions for your room or garden, have issues with existing or new plants or looking for that token plant to start your «adult» window garden, I highly recommend Flowers and Weeds. Ask them questions and let them share with you what they know and what they suggest.

Flowers & Weeds moved but not far! They’re new location is just down the street and it’s AMAZING.
It’s in an old gas station and the set up is amazing. You’ll find cute pots, outdoor plants, indoor plants, succulents galore, awesome garden trinkets and decorations, and best of all… everything you need to make a terrarium.
I got my girlfriend a terrarium container for her desk at her new job and we went here together to pick out some goodies to put inside it. They have EVERYTHING and a big chalkboard with instructions for what you need. Different colored rocks, dirt, moss, succulents, and eclectic decorations. She opted for the dino toy… of course. I also picked up a couple small pots for my apartment.
If you’re looking to shop local and have any gardening/​plant needs, I highly recommend you go here. It’s easy to navigate and has a great product.

I ordered my parents flowers online as a little thank you, and for a very reasonable amount, the next day (on a Sunday!) my parents received the most beautiful and unique bouquet I have ever seen. I even gave them the wrong address by accident, and the employees were still so kind and helpful about delivery. The best florist in St. Louis, by far. This shop could not get any better!

Jessie made a few flower arrangements and a bunch of small terrariums for our wedding and they were absolutely beautiful! If you need flowers for any occasion, dont think twice about it! She can make fresh flower arrangements, not only terrariums and she uses locally grown flowers, some even from her garden. My wedding would not have been the same without her creations! Thank you! Came in to get some plants for my terrarium. The greenhouse is adorable. The owner is super friendly and helpful. I am so glad this place is so close to me! I don’t have a green thumb, but I would love to get into gardening and plants. It seems like this is a great place to start and get ideas!

Jessica creates living works of art… I know if I walk into her shop, I will leave with a unique and incredibly gorgeous terrarium to tuck into a corner of my home or give as a gift. The selection of greenery, additions such as shells, crystals, or ultra mini figurines and the housing for these bits is plentiful. As is Jessica’s knowledge about her products. Love this place!

Jessie is a genius. No, seriously. She is lovely as a person and is lovely as a florist. All of the bouquets she has made for me are gorgeous, her terrariums and air plants are incredible and she is so knowledgeable about her craft.
I first met Jessie at the Strange Folk Festival back in September 2013, where her lovely booth was full of terrariums and flowers and aloe plants and all kinds of pretty stuff. I had recently attempted to make a terrarium of my own, which was a massive failure. I was so excited to see multiple sizes and kinds of terrariums to choose from with a variety of price points.
I’ve since purchased more arrangements and terrariums from Jessie as gifts and for myself. She’s great at what she does, and her set-​up at The Heirloom Room is really great. Definitely check it out!

This place is such a hidden gem! I’ve always loved terrariums (or «ter-​ray-​rays» as Jessica affectionately called them) so I was really excited when there was a Unilocal event held here I really love hands-​on crafty events, and this one was one for the books. I loved how it was set up as one long table with everything laid out like a little earthy buffet and everyone was able to let their creativity flow. Jessica was very sweet to accommodate me and my friend that were quite late to the party.
I loved strolling around the greenhouse and checking out all the elements they have sitting out for terrarium building — crystals, seashells, coral, succulents, beautiful glass vessels of all shapes and sizes. I was in heaven! I was immediately trying to conceive in my head an excuse to get back here to make another.
